VAAG is the artist name of producer Marc Brinkerink (NL) and translates from Dutch to English as 'unclear, vague, no frames, no boundaries....no direction'. His latest release 'Perfect Imperfection' on the label @pointsourcearts has been discribed by @igloomag as "Skittering, tumbling beats slip and slide past each other, narrowly avoiding collision in an erratic but choreographed dance. Strange, warbling melodies and crackling electrical discharges fill the air with a palpable energy. Somehow all these broken pieces fit together with an odd sort of cohesion. It’s wrong in all the right ways, perfectly imperfect."
