The tenth Amulet is an exception: part hymn, part eulogy, part elegy. Against the harmonious backdrop of her musical selection, the voice of FH HF recites chosen poems, including those of Maya Angelou, Andrei Tarkovsky, Forugh Farrokhzad and of her own writing. The soft-spoken lyrical journey, guided by the novel Georgian artist, conveys a heartfelt search for truth in emotion. "I Saw His Plane Taking Off to the Clouds", the debut album of FH HF, was released under the label @eastern-nurseries in 2019.

THE HIBERNATION SENTINEL

Philipp Zöhrer is interested in moments and atmospheres of collective ecstasy, in which a dancing audience gets into. Empty rooms, like those created everywhere by the corona epidemic, attract him equally. He takes us to the church ruin of Wachau at the outskirts of the city of Leipzig, where he is currently living. Exclusively for the Kunsthalle Darmstadt, the scenery is accompanied by a compilation of post-punk and wave music, whose melancholic and hypnotic sound takes you back to mythical times.

Philipp Zöhrer interessiert sich als Künstler für Momente und Atmosphären der kollektiven Ekstase, in die zum Beispiel ein tanzendes Publikum gerät. Menschenleere Räume, wie sie durch die Corona-Epidemie überall entstehen, ziehen ihn gleichermaßen an. Er nimmt uns mit in die Kirchenruine Wachau, die in seiner Wahlstadt Leipzig steht. Exklusiv für die Kunsthalle Darmstadt wird die Kulisse der Kirchenruine mit einer Compilation aus Post-Punk und Wave Musik untermalt, deren melancholischeu und hypnotischer Sound in mythisierte Zeiten zurückversetzt.

Inspired from numerous hidden and blurry reflexions  around sound ; both an auditive ointment and a tear gas, both sound that comforts tears but also makes them shed. 
An eclectic journey between emerging, passionate and intriguing artists.

Inspirée de nombreuses réflexions cachées et floues autour du son ; à la fois pommade auditive et lacrymogène, le son qui réconforte les larmes mais qui les fait également couler.
