Guided by polyrhythmic influences & cathartic bass, our next artist crafts every oscillation purposefully and with clear direction. Her two EPs on YUKU( with Nomäa being named Best Bandcamp Release of April) are the prime example of this; finding a way to interlink them not only by the obvious Part I & II of Donker Dag, but also by creating a balance between them both rhythmically and soundscape-wise. 

We are of course talking about Leese, based in Brussels, who has gained recognition for her unique style blending break and tribal influences performing at clubs and festivals throughout Europe. On stage, Leese delivers a passionate and energetic performance, mesmerizing her audience with her powerful beats and enchanting atmospheres. She is becoming increasingly well-known in the electronic/bass music scene and her project is continually evolving and developing.

Get ready for an hour of pure delirium.

Frenquency

At a young age, Frenquency was already intrigued by all kinds of music. Nowadays that sparkling interest manifested itself in producing different electronic sounds and music, for in the club and outside. His live sets are hybrid of nature and have an emphasis on releasing the right energy toward the dancefloors across the globe, from fast-paced rhythms to dazzling melodies. 

Over the years Frenquency released his music on Samsara Beats, 4NC¥, several EP’s on LA-based Black Marble Collective, Hamburg-based Saturate Records, and Amsterdam-based Basserk. Besides EP’s he dropped a bunch of tracks, bootlegs, and remixes on labels worldwide like; Uncomfortable Beats, Sequel One, Diamond Juke, and Internetghetto. His tunes get widespread support from the likes of Anna Morgan, LCY, Jensen Interceptor & Noisia.

This mix features all his own productions, released and unreleased, building a bridge between a broad spectrum of sounds. This hybrid way of approaching music is what excites him the most.
