Various atmospheres of places as communicated to and felt by others. Alive in and of eternity. With and within nature. Trees. Rain. Air. Fire. Iron. Rock. Breaking down naturally. Eroding. Dirt. Grass. Growing.  Evolving. Slow. Shining. A subtle warm and colorful shimmer off a gently worn lens.....

Born and raised in the little town of Mol. Alexander led a peaceful life.
He'd spend his time playing the accordion. Or he'd write lyrics as a songwriter for his avant-garde rock band "Element". 

But eventually he lost his interest in music. And he resided in a state of musical non-activity for a truly long time.

Until one day in high school he met an unusual man. This hobo-like creature called himself Jonasty.
In spite of the fact that J. lacked the necessary competence to shave himself on a regular basis, he was a gifted lad ( in the music kind of way ) .

He introduced Alex. to the magical world of electronic music. Where everything was possible ! From stealing snippets from other people's music ( and getting away with it by calling it "sampling" ) to imitating real instruments.  

Alex. was given an Ableton Live trial version by Jonasty. And that's when the ball started rolling.  Alex. cherished the gift and it was at that moment his alter-ego "Del Port" was born.

Alexander lived as a happy man and made music that brought joy to the people's heart. But 30 days later clouds of misfortune and bad luck covered the bright, blue sky. The trial version had ended....

Alexander found himself the next year in a musical depression ( which he in interviews mentions as the "Dark Age" ). At this time he focused his mind on other activities. He had various affairs with elderly women, developed an interest for paragliding and co-founded an organisation we now know as the European Union. 

On a cold winter's day while reading Herman Hesse in his "fauteuil", the strange Jonasty came knocking on his door. He handed over an Ableton Live Lite version. The phoenix rose from the ashes and ever since Alex attempts to create "that what men define as music".
