After nearly a year of taking a sonic cocktails sobriety break, we're back and more thirsty than ever.

We couldn't think of a more fitting artist to be our returning beat tender than our resident Indigo Plateaux. And to make up for the break, we're serving up a double shot of sexy sounds with a two part mix. In true PokeMaster fashion (and to celebrate their new and hard earned title of Masterball rank (real ones know)), Indigo is treating us to two themed mixes as an ode to the roots, Fire Red and Leaf Green.

The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Indigo Plateaux. The Berlin-based based American artist is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ devoted to continuing the tradition of queer Black excellence in House and Techno. Conceived in Paradise Garage and raised by a DJ father, rhythm was both in the household and in their bones, which shines clear in their sharp as a whip productions and selections alike. They've been consistently releasing some great tracks and we're thrilled to start the year with this phenomenal podcast delivering fresh energy to our year.

Indigo Plateaux is a dynamic force in the Berlin techno and house scene, bringing a unique blend of black queer culture and pulsating beats to dance floors across the city. Originally hailing from Maplewood, New Jersey, Indigo’s journey into the world of music began at an early age, sparked by a deep passion for electronic sounds and a desire to express their identity through art. 

After honing their craft in the vibrant underground scenes of New Jersey and New York, Indigo made the bold move to Berlin, drawn by its reputation as a melting pot of creativity and diversity. It was here that they found their true voice as a producer and DJ, seamlessly weaving together intricate rhythms and hypnotic melodies to create immersive sonic experiences.
