The recording of the Dalai Lama singing this ancient mantra "Maha Mrityunjaya" of the Rig Veda was taken with the permission of the Dalai Lama to one of his students. At first he refused, but then he agreed, but said the mantra should never be sold, but must be passed in vain. If you would like to share this with others, please continue to include this note.

HI guys, seems like a very long time since I've posted anything, for that I apologise if there was anyone waiting, I hope you had yourself some food in the meantime. I've been away living life, writing songs, making bands and thinking albums. I'd be surprised if there's many people still kicking about, seems like there's been a bit of an exodus.

Anyway, this song is based on personal experience, one amazing weekend and a very bittersweet experience, still fresh in the memory.  It was probably the easiest song I've ever written, so I guess it's true what they say, write what you know. I only wrote it a couple of days ago, but it already feels fully formed in terms of lyrics. In terms of development as a finished song, it has a long way to go. But i thought i would post it in a very rough format, just to let you know I haven't died if nothing else. When I've made polished versions in the past they have lost a lot of the soul of the rough versions so that's maybe why I'm fine with putting up a warts and all version
