Elli San aka D-Vine
Elli San, also known as D-Vine, began her musical journey in 1996 as the only female DJ and producer on the pioneering German label Risk Industrees – a crew that brought Oldschool Breakbeats, Drum & Bass, Breaks, and Nu Skool into the spotlight in mid-90s Karlsruhe. Her mentor? The infamous DEX DEXTA, one of the label’s founding minds.
She made her official DJ debut in 1998 with the party series "Planet Drum&Bass" at the legendary Carambolage club, alongside DJ Destiny and DJ Soulsurfer from Mannheim. From there, she became a resident in venues like Stockwerk, Etage, Gotec, Kulturruine, Kramladen (Beat Club) in Kaiserslautern, and Die Röhre in Stuttgart. Her sets took her across cities like Mannheim, Heidelberg, Cologne, Stuttgart, and Paris.
In 2007, she moved to Okinawa, Japan, earning a residency at the island’s oldest electronic club and becoming part of the Raw Fusion Crew. She also had the honor of playing in Hiroshima with the SleepyEye Crew.

With deep roots in vinyl culture, D-Vine is an “old school” DJ with a forward-thinking spirit – equally at home on the decks and in the studio. She moves fluidly through Drum & Bass, Breakz, Trip Hop, and House, always guided by feeling and flow.
Now a certified audio engineer and co-founder of FreqShack Studio, she crafts sound not just for the dancefloor – but for the soul.
