The History. 

Peter Platinum Phillips’ has held on-air positions with a number of radio stations in England, UK including London’s England’s first Hip Hop & R&B radio station, Bassline FM, back in 1993 a highly influential music station, this gave him the perfect opportunity to combine his love for music with his passion for interviewing.

He also won the best Radio Announcer at the Kiss 100’s DJ Academy on Kiss FM in 1997 (London, England, UK).

In 1999 along with some 200 volunteers and would-be broadcasters he participated in the launch of FLR, South East London’s ONLY community radio station, which gained a full time radio license after several temporary 28 day restricted service licenses.

During his radio career Peter has interviewed some of the biggest names in music, including Chris Brown, Nas, Ne-Yo, Akon, Bow Wow, Roc-A-Fella’s Beanie Sigel & Memphis Bleek, Chamillionaire, Kem, Kindred The Family Soul, Amerie, Jagged Edge, 112, Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child, and John Legend.

Peter’s focus on music & interviewing even included a brief spell on a weekly television program in 2009 called Real Talk, which was focused on showcasing emerging recording artists in the local community.

In 2011 Peter Platinum Phillips Joined Canada's first Urban AC radio station G987FM - Platinum's World broadcast every weekend until Peter decided to leave G987FM and start The Soul Of Toronto Radio with the main focus on real soul music for the mature radio listener in Toronto, Canada.

Twisted Mindz is a sound crew that reside in Toronto, Canada and was formed in the early 2000s. Since hitting the Toronto music scene they have been getting lots of love and respect from other sound crews and DJs. The members consist of Fly and Jay-T who have the talent to play music for any occasion  . 

While growing in the industry Twisted Mindz has also been known as (Toronto's Insane Dj Duo) and use a catchy phrase " You know how we do all day everyday!" 

These two talented brothers have provided music for all types of events. They have also played music in various venues such as Captain John's (harbour boat & banquet facilities), York University, University of Toronto and The Guvernment Entertainment Complex.

Twisted Mindz has gained the respect of many sound crew and Djs across Toronto, they have basically worked alongside all the top names Djs in city

Twisted Mindz has been featured twice in the largest DJ convention in North America known as the CDJ SHOW (2012 &2013). They have also played on York University radio station chry105.5fm. It's just a matter of time before more big and great thing happen for Toronto's insane duo!!!
