DER MORD is an industrial music project, it is characterized by its disregard of stylistic limitations, blending various vocal techniques and rough soundscapes. Der Mord's core member is Yannick Franck (Raum, MT Gemini, Orphan Swords, Figure Section), who is also the head of the infamous Antibody label.

Julio Tornero started with electronic music in 2012, between projects like Polígono Hindú Astral, Tornische or Zotal or his own aka, Tornero, Dark Tibet, or Madrelarva, he has accumulated references in labels from all over the globe, veering from the icy ambient to the electronic more focused on the dancefloor, passing through kraut and the most cosmic sounds close to electro.

Femur, CitiTrax, Detriti, Clandestine Records, Intellictronic Bubble or Black Artifact, to name a few, have been the launching labels for his material. On this occasion, and as his second reference on Fill-lex, after 6 years since his first Lp cassette on the label, he brings us a machine-like album of rough techno, rhythmic noise and corrosive sonorities, thus updating his sound palette and mutating into something different from his previous releases. An energetic and forceful album but at the same time risky, as it incorporates harsh elements to the classic acid bases of his live sets.

'Zeal' by RHYTHM MODULATION takes the listener into a realm of eerie dissonance. The track is characterized by its creepy, discordant elements, weaving a web of tension and suspense. It's a masterclass in atmosphere, building an unsettling yet captivating aura that grips the listener from start to finish.

JANA GREENSTONE's 'Ascension' brings a unique twist to the compilation with its offbeat rhythm and unconventional structure. The track's intricate layers and unexpected turns create a sense of ascension and elevation, as if rising above the physical plane into a higher state of consciousness. It's a cerebral experience that invites introspection and deeper listening.

Closing the compilation, RYNZLER's 'Alea Iacta Est' is a powerful statement of intent. This drone-heavy, buzzy techno track is both imposing and meditative, blending dense textures with a steady, hypnotic rhythm. ^L_ - Music for Doomers (Brutal Forms/IT)
Obscure brazilian artist ^L_ landed an intriguing new release on italian post-industrial heavy electronics label Brutal Forms. “Music for Doomers” is a punch in the stomach, a thoroughly constructed 4 track EP inspired by a nihilistic generation that often expresses downer feelings as it comprehends life as a dark downward spiral that only gets worse. The piece starts with ‘BDSM’, an incisive fetish pounding gabber tune that would fit perfectly on Berghain’s main dancefloor. The fast pace continues on ‘Sad People Hunting Happy People’ with its drilling beats, razor sharp metal timbres and long reverbing dark ambience textures that represent a scenery of revenge, as a criticism to positive toxicity. ‘Doomer Music’ has a futuristic drive, with its cutting edge synthwork, spicy acid 303 lines and hard techno beats, which take the listener to a dystopian cyberpunk world that could take place inside any doomer’s mind. Religious themes are often addressed by the artist, so ‘Satan + Jesus + Judas’ gathers supposedly opposite concepts in an elaborate percussive tune that travels between drill and bass, nervous IDM breakbeats and the industrial realms.
