“Aware" is the fourth album of Vincenzo Pizzi, a narrative based on emotions, feelings and personal experiences of the past two years. 
A journey open to all with the intent to describe and revive mixed feelings. 
On the one hand we have beauty in all its forms, the purest aesthetics and feeling good. 
On the other we have the obsession and fear of losing beauty, mental and physical well-being. 
Losing all kinds of contact: visual, aural, real, surreal. Losing does not necessarily mean being defeated. 
To participate emotionally in actions, situations and everything around us. 
Changing view of the usual beauty and appreciating sides that are unfamiliar. 
The sounds present in this album are purely electronic, with textures of sound design pure, organic elements, distorted and dominant rhythms contrasted with soft and romance. 
A metric excursion that allows the listener to rise, fall, stay and get carried away. 
This album is taken form the performance A/V “物の哀れ - MONO NO AWARE” presented as a world premiere for Manifesto Fest “Ipogeo” in Rome and curated by Visioni Parallele Creative Studio.

Rhys Fulber, a key figure in the industrial and electronic scene for his work with Front Line Assembly and Delerium, presents his new solo album, Memory Impulse Autonomy, under Artoffact Records. This work bridges his roots in the dark sound of the '80s (inspired by Cabaret Voltaire, Portion Control, and his fellow Skinny Puppy collaborators) with his evolution into contemporary industrial techno.

The album captures the creative essence of his early years, when he experimented with analog equipment in improvised sessions. "The title reflects those memories of musical discovery and the freedom to create without constraints," Fulber explains. The album features collaborations with avant-garde vocalists: William Maybelline (Qual) lends his signature brooding voice to The Abyss, Barkosina (Years of Denial) shines on the club track Only Love Will Save You, and Konstantin Unwohl adds depth to the industrial ballad Nichts Dafür Getan.

The cover art, designed by legendary artist Steven R. Gilmore (longtime collaborator with Skinny Puppy), pays homage to the genre's classic aesthetics. The album alternates between powerful cuts like Exlavier and more atmospheric moments like Further Back And Forward, showcasing Fulber's versatility.

It's a gift that producers as influential as Rhys Fulber continue to enrich our ears with new work, while also sharing their personal reflections on their current creative phase and new album.

Premiere: Rhys Fulber - New Despotism [Artoffact Records]

Recently, it has been a year since French DJ and producer Mystery Kid burst onto the electronic scene with Black Sheep, her debut track, released under the Italian label Nubians Of Plutonia Records. Over this time, the French artist has released a few more tracks, including notable works like Studio Session 013, an EP published alongside her compatriot Discord on the label Paco Tyson. However, if there’s one thing worth highlighting, it’s her collaborative spirit and her connection with other creators. This attitude is brilliantly reflected in her latest release.

To commemorate this first anniversary, Mystery Kid presents Mystery Kid Remixed #001, an album that not only celebrates her evolution as a producer but also pays tribute to the artistic community that has accompanied her on this journey. Far from being a simple remix compilation, this project is a collective experiment in which eleven producers from different corners of the world reinterpret her tracks, blending genres like disco, indie dance, and EBM into a rich mosaic of nuanced sounds and influences.

What makes this work special is its nature as a global sonic laboratory—each track functions as a unique artistic dialogue, where collaborators imprint their personal vision while maintaining a subtle thread connecting them to Mystery Kid’s essence. The result is a musical tapestry that reflects both the diversity of today’s electronic scene and the open, generous philosophy that has guided the artist throughout her first year in the industry.

Premiere: Mystery Kid & Discord - Kitkat Anthem (Sachazam Rework)

Under the alias SR60, Italian experimental artist Giuseppe Mascia crafts dark, hypnotic, and transcendental soundscapes. Mascia works with a minimalist synthetic palette, where every element, from industrial pulses, layered textures, and fractured rhythms, carries its own weight. His compositions are exercises in controlled tension, with noisy structures colliding against static backdrops to create a sense of ordered chaos.

Giuseppe Mascia returns with a new EP as SR60. Hel draws inspiration from cinematic cyberpunk and dystopian aesthetics. The project unfolds as a collage of audible landscapes, fusing industrial beats, dark narratives, and sonic motifs that sit at the crossroads of advanced electronic music.

The EP’s intro couldn’t be more evocative: a fragment from Meltdown, Nick Land’s chaotic text, recited by an artificial voice emerging from an eroded soundscape. Condition, a collaboration with Tez (Clock DVA), is a journey of contrasts where melodies intertwine with pulses and interference. Nightmare City pays homage to Italian horror cinema, specifically Incubo sulla città contaminata (Nightmare City, 1980) directed by Umberto Lenzi.

No City, meanwhile, delves into macabre folklore, with lyrics revisiting the legend of Edward Mordake, the Victorian man with a demonic face on the back of his head, transplanted into a post-industrial setting. As the EP nears its end, Ascension builds an unsettling atmosphere through an anxious, relentless arpeggio. Finally, Sonic Landscape closes the record with desolation and emptiness, its blurred chords buried beneath layers of sonic corrosion.

Premiere: SR60 - No City [MacroTerra]

The Serbian producer, a key figure in the Balkan scene and founding member of the E75 collective, showcases his signature fusion of raw electro and techno elements in this release, proving why he has remained at the forefront of the genre for over 20 years.

The EP emerges as a sonic manifesto where technical precision meets unrelenting attitude. From the opening bars of Robotech Pt 1, with its menacing basslines and distorted synths, it’s clear this is material crafted for moving crowds in the darkest corners of the underground. Civil Rights heightens the tension with intricate rhythmic patterns and acidic leads, while Moving Back and Forth ventures into more hypnotic territory without sacrificing an ounce of energy. The closing track, Robotech Pt 2, serves as the perfect epilogue, condensing the essence of Alavux’s sound into six minutes of metallic percussion, granulated bass, and the apocalyptic atmosphere that has earned him support from icons like Dave Clarke.

A decade after his breakout Octagon EP on Bass Agenda Recordings, this new release on Urban Kick Recordings reaffirms Alavux as a consistent and visionary force in contemporary electro. Bitrate stands as an essential sonic document for understanding the genre’s evolution in the third decade of the 21st century, preserving underground ethos while pushing technical and creative boundaries.

Premiere: Alavux - Robotech Pt 01 [Urban Kick Recordings]

Spammerheads, the Valencia-based duo known for their raw electronic sound, have been steadily cementing their reputation as one of the most solid projects in the new Spanish EBM scene. They now return with The Mire Chronicles. This new work, released by Banshees Records, is a sonic artifact born from catharsis. In the wake of the devastating floods that struck Valencia in October 2024, the group not only lost part of their studio but also witnessed the destruction and the subsequent wave of solidarity firsthand. From this traumatic experience, loaded with conflicting emotions, emerges their most personal, cohesive, and powerfully moving album to date.

If their previous work, Disclaimer (2024), certified them as a leading force in EBM, The Mire Chronicles deepens and expands that sound with a visceral narrative. The band maintains its unmistakable backbone of relentless sequences, abrasive basslines, and an industrial atmosphere inherited from the old school of the 80s.

However, here they incorporate nuances and textures that reflect the album's emotional journey. Powerlessness and shock are translated into desolate soundscapes and heavy, crawling rhythms, while fury and resilience erupt in peaks of controlled aggression. The production, meticulously detailed, is both raw and crisp, allowing each element, however harsh, to occupy its own space to maximize emotional impact.

Their evolution is palpable. From Espai, Temps i Materia and Bricks for Reconstruction to the essential Tar Blood / Cement Skin, Spammerheads have demonstrated a commendable capacity for growth, which culminates in the artistic maturity of The Mire Chronicles.

The album's greatest strength lies in its powerful narrative concept. It functions as a chronicle—a sonic diary that navigates the collective states of mind in the face of a catastrophe. The six main tracks (expanded to eight with the digital bonus tracks) are chapters in a story of loss and resilience.

Premiere: Spammerheads - Shocking Days [Banshees Records]

Versatility is a quality that is embodied in the style of Vincenzo Pizzi, an Italian producer who works in a musical context based on the harshness and rawness of techno, but always starting from this genre as a basis for all his subsequent development, as an influence that expands with breaks, advanced electronica and electronic sounds.

Vincenzo is the head of Pyteca, a label he founded in 2016 and which houses his latest album. Archivio is a 9-track release that stands out for its diversity, as it combines fast and broken rhythms with the rhythmic immutability of techno. Each track is a completely different story from the rest, the album does not have to follow a stipulated or agreed upon line, with patterns that can give indications of what the listener is going to hear, but rather it is a multiple connection, united by forcefulness.
