Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. A major force in his home country's music scene, Tinexis is a mysterious artist in a world of social media noise. Whether performing live, through his "Other Sides" podcast, or brand new monthly "Depth Immersion" show on Proton Radio, Tinexis continues to mesmerise and hypnotise through a unique blend of music that captivates fans and listeners alike.

His debut release thus continues to build on a reputation that is set to grow. "Dark Side of the Moon" is a brooding dance floor gem that evolves with consummate ease via a backdrop of pounding beat, driving percussion and melodic mastery. Shimmering arpeggios vie with intricate bass groove and stuttered vocal cuts as an emotive chord progression flows. Pausing at a stripped back breakdown, a stepped lead line cuts through the sonic spectrum with its crystalline edge before joining forces with rhythm and bass once more in the third movement to hugely impressive effect. This is a remarkable debut.

A double-century of production credits sit proudly next to the Stas Drive name as he finds his work allied to blue-chip imprints including microCastle, Sudbeat and Hope. Indeed, it was for the latter that saw Stas make an appearance on Nick Warren's hugely successful crowd-funded album, "The Soundgarden", with his track, "Arjuna". Regularly supported by the DJ glitterati, John Digweed, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo have all kept the Stas Drive name in the limelight.

Now working his production magic for Dreamcatcher, the Stas Drive remix of "Dark Side of the Moon" is built upon a dark, pounding groove that sees a seismic kick lay the foundations for a running bass line to keep energy high, as metallic percussive shots span the stereo-spectrum in precise fashion. A wealth of additional production material is in full evidence as a dance-floor jewel explodes at the mid-point with its stabbed synth line. Using Tinexis' emotive lead line to full effect at the breakdown, Stas Drive's skill is to combine this with his own production element.

The Dark Side Of The Moon with Stas Drive Remix

PREMIERE: Tinexis - The Dark Side Of The Moon (Stas Drive Remix) [Dreamcatcher]

Arriving as the third outing of Len Faki’s recently established non-profit platform LF RMX, these previously exclusive edits take on a raging classic by courtesy of Frankie Bones, godfather of the North-American rave scene.

The new Hardspace Mix bolsters up the characteristic vocal and synths for even more frantic effect but trades in the percussion for Faki’s signature assault of claps and hats. These also dominate the stripped-back Hardspace Tool, which carefully builds momentum only around the sirens and some seriously sizzling low-end rumble. Both of Faki’s personal mixes capture the orignal’s raw energy, yet manage to appear in both sleek but powerful presence.

As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be donated to the Berlin charity project Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Following on from his well-received ‘Impermanence’ EP in 2015, Sidney Charles makes a welcome return to the Truesoul fold. 

It may be a surprise to learn Sidney Charles only produced his first record in 2011; indeed, the Hamburg-born, London-based artist has crafted some of the most sophisticated and effective productions spanning the house and techno genre in recent years, taking inspiration from the rough jacking sounds of the early ‘90s. 

His first release on Truesoul in three years sees him in typically inspired form with a versatile four-track package. ‘Jack Endlessly’ builds layer upon layer of groove-ridden beats and ravey stabs that lead into an exaggerated build up, all deftly complimented by a suggestive vocal sample. ‘R.E.D.’ contrasts excellently, a dirty bass-driven cut with shades of Chicago, that makes its mark courtesy of a rousing soulful vocal. ‘Unchained’ sounds as though it was forged in a knives factory, as expertly programmed drums rub shoulders with deep twisted subterranean stabs for a pin-sharp finish. ‘‘Molec’ closes out the EP as a shimmering end-of-night melodic gem that reinforces the German’s versatility and thoughtfulness as a producer.

LENSKE’s first release by Farrago, “Risin”, comes packing high velocity punches, including a collaboration with Amelie Lens and a remix from Kobosil. The EP’s A side is packed near 12 minutes of crisp machine driven techno with Farrago’s rattling peak-time “The Riddler” being the first to puncture. The title track, “Risin”, will only be released as the Kobosil remix, a titanium tour of auditory horrors, which also borrows from the EP’s other tracks. Lens’ signature sultry vocal samples on the B side’s “Jealousy” draw the contours of a jaw grinding banger, while “Hidden Power” rounds out the release with a blaring dance floor siren encased in exquisitely unpredictable arrangement. Frenchman POPOF continues his decorated career with a debut release on Truesoul. 

POPOF is an artist whose career has been defined by twists and turns. From delicately beautiful minimal productions like ‘Serenity’ on his own Form Music imprint, to peak-time house cuts on Hot Creations and his remixes of The Chemical Brothers and Depeche Mode, his music is as unpredictable as it is impressive. 

Reinforcing the breadth of his output, he lands on Truesoul with a gritty three-track work, after impressing Adam Beyer with recent his ‘Confusion’ EP on MOOD Records, which featured on the Truesoul head’s celebrated Amnesia Terrace set at Cocoon Ibiza last year. ‘Vaporizer’ kicks off the EP in energetic fashion, driven by an electro-laced bassline that builds towards a thrilling crescendo. The title track ‘Enforced’ keeps up the intensity with a raw underbelly of menacing drums, acid and dizzying synth effects. ‘Placid Séquences’ sees techno, acid and electro fused together for maximum effect, rounding out the Frenchman’s high-octane contribution to the Truesoul catalogue.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode’s outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another’s work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer’s protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan’s work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast’s Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio’s creative chemistry would manifest musically.

‘Space Date’ was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet’s trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that’s highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by ‘Rome Future’, the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who’ve followed their sets over recent months.

Almost one year in the making, Bulgaria’s outstanding techno talent lands his return to Drumcode with a four-track EP. 

Timmo (aka Valeri Ivanov) doesn’t do things in half measures. Since the release of his excellent ‘System’ EP last year and ‘Muzik’, his inclusion on A-Sides Vol.6, he’s committed himself to crafting, refining and polishing a quartet of cuts inspired by the cosmic realms beyond planet earth. Titled ‘Meteorite’, its release marks 10 years since he first began producing and stakes its claim as a resounding career highlight with tracks already highlighting gigs for Adam Beyer at Tobacco Dock, Awakenings, Future Kappa Festival and Junction 2.

Beginning with the title track, the streamlined work throbs with a searing synthetic pulse. ‘Black Moon’ sees the EP land its first blow, kicking with a mixture of undulating synths and understated hoovers. ‘Spacetime’ stays true to its name delivering intergalactic techno vibes. ‘Cosmos’ concludes the work, taking us into extra-terrestrial dancefloor territory, with a barrage of trippy synth work and a melodic underbelly the makes the track both beautiful and heavy-hitting in equal measure.

Marco Faraone returns to Drumcode with some of his most inspired work ever, comprising of four tracks crossing the Techno spectrum.

Growing up Marco was surrounded by 90s Italo house and techno, which have all had a part in the current sound he produces today. Never one to stick to any individual style, he can often surprise his fans with a set pumping out peak time beats to down tempo house cuts with catchy vocals.

 “With this release, I took some inspiration from listening back to some old Vitalic sounds and giving some extra power to the use of synths in each track. It’s got a festival vibe to it, which is something I wanted to achieve” - Marco

His last Drumcode EP was back in 2016, so this October he makes a welcome return showing his multiskilled productions at their full potential on this mega 4 tracker, opening with the gargantuan ‘Never Forget’. Mutating rhythmic synths hark back to the good ol’ days of BXR and the limitless talent of the Italian Techno scene in the late 90s. Boiling over in the main break this is crowd-pleasing dance music at its finest. 

‘Cruiser’ is a bumpy upbeat ride with a strong melodic hook that will have the hands raised and the feet stomping. Title track ‘Lunar Eclipse’ is a dense, at times claustrophobic roller. Menacing to begin with, the addition of the main melodic motifs lifts the mood midway. ‘Take This Trip’ rounds out an incendiary EP. Lighter and more musical that the previous three, it offers a joyful, softer message.

Named after her godchild, the three-track EP is loaded with tumultuous timbres and stormy tones that make for destructive dancefloor behavior.

Ahead of the EP's release on November 23, Amelie Lens has shared the EP cut, 'Energize'. A track that does exactly what it calls itself, the fierce rhythm of the tune's drums in conjunction with Lens' permeating mantra urges clubland revelers to bring more power to their enviorment.

Ricardo Rodrigues aka Industrialyzer, son of a musician, was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. At an early age of 14, inspired by his father’s profession, he started taking guitar classes. Two intense years later, he would already give classes in scales and music theory to young talent. Over the years to come, Ricardo joined several bands and performed at bars, concerts and festivals. 

At the age of 17 he would discover his true love to be electronic music. Starting as a bedroom DJ, he gradually started performing in Portuguese clubs as well. In 2000, Ricardo moves to The Netherlands to take a course in electronic music production. Amazed by the local techno scene, the decision to be made was quite simple: he decided to stay. New doors would open in 2003, when he became second at the I Love Techno DJ contest, and then again in 2005, by winning the Dance Parade Rotterdam DJ contest.

Parallel, Ricardo was also busy producing. He advanced and refined his sound, which didn’t come unnoticed. In 2007 also Cisco Ferreira aka The Advent discovers Ricardo’s talent. Not too long after that, Cisco releases Ricardo’s tracks on his Kombination Research imprint, followed by releases and remixes for artists like A. Paul, The Advent, Sven Wittekind, Christian Fischer and DJ Murphy. Towards the end of 2007, Cisco, Ricardo and a fellow friend Paulo Gomes start the CodeWorks label, which would with its first release immediately prove to be successful—selling out in one week. This new motivation pushed towards a new project: The Advent vs Industrialyzer.

With current releases on Drumcode, as well as the upcoming releases on MB Electronics, Beat Disaster, Theory, etc., the duo has a promising future, just as does Industrialyzer solo.
