It arrives with two equally impressive remixes from big hitters Cari Lekebusch (H-Productions, Drumcode) and TWR72 (Float, Planet Rhythm), making for a killer follow-up to the well received 'Sehnsucht' Ep, which dropped on Turbo Recordings a few months back. Marco Faraone returns to Drumcode with some of his most inspired work ever, comprising of four tracks crossing the Techno spectrum.

Growing up Marco was surrounded by 90s Italo house and techno, which have all had a part in the current sound he produces today. Never one to stick to any individual style, he can often surprise his fans with a set pumping out peak time beats to down tempo house cuts with catchy vocals.

 “With this release, I took some inspiration from listening back to some old Vitalic sounds and giving some extra power to the use of synths in each track. It’s got a festival vibe to it, which is something I wanted to achieve” - Marco

His last Drumcode EP was back in 2016, so this October he makes a welcome return showing his multiskilled productions at their full potential on this mega 4 tracker, opening with the gargantuan ‘Never Forget’. Mutating rhythmic synths hark back to the good ol’ days of BXR and the limitless talent of the Italian Techno scene in the late 90s. Boiling over in the main break this is crowd-pleasing dance music at its finest. 

‘Cruiser’ is a bumpy upbeat ride with a strong melodic hook that will have the hands raised and the feet stomping. Title track ‘Lunar Eclipse’ is a dense, at times claustrophobic roller. Menacing to begin with, the addition of the main melodic motifs lifts the mood midway. ‘Take This Trip’ rounds out an incendiary EP. Lighter and more musical that the previous three, it offers a joyful, softer message.

<p>Three forces have come together to form the &#8220;Brick House&#8221; EP on Kombination Research, which serves as a testament to the grind and menace that emanates from these three collective personalities.Relentless beeps fire away from a rollercoaster of industrial rhythms, while frantic sonars rear their distorted head above the crushing drums. The ride continues into the AD_IN remix of Pt. 2, where mangled chords make their appearance and dissonant effects are sprinkled over the rolling affair.</p>

Ricardo Rodrigues aka Industrialyzer, son of a musician, was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. At an early age of 14, inspired by his father’s profession, he started taking guitar classes. Two intense years later, he would already give classes in scales and music theory to young talent. Over the years to come, Ricardo joined several bands and performed at bars, concerts and festivals. 

At the age of 17 he would discover his true love to be electronic music. Starting as a bedroom DJ, he gradually started performing in Portuguese clubs as well. In 2000, Ricardo moves to The Netherlands to take a course in electronic music production. Amazed by the local techno scene, the decision to be made was quite simple: he decided to stay. New doors would open in 2003, when he became second at the I Love Techno DJ contest, and then again in 2005, by winning the Dance Parade Rotterdam DJ contest.

Parallel, Ricardo was also busy producing. He advanced and refined his sound, which didn’t come unnoticed. In 2007 also Cisco Ferreira aka The Advent discovers Ricardo’s talent. Not too long after that, Cisco releases Ricardo’s tracks on his Kombination Research imprint, followed by releases and remixes for artists like A. Paul, The Advent, Sven Wittekind, Christian Fischer and DJ Murphy. Towards the end of 2007, Cisco, Ricardo and a fellow friend Paulo Gomes start the CodeWorks label, which would with its first release immediately prove to be successful—selling out in one week. This new motivation pushed towards a new project: The Advent vs Industrialyzer.

With current releases on Drumcode, as well as the upcoming releases on MB Electronics, Beat Disaster, Theory, etc., the duo has a promising future, just as does Industrialyzer solo.
