Jei Shinn is a 24 year old Inspirational, R&B and Gospel Singer, who began singing at the age of 2. Under his grandmother's direction at the age of 13 he began singing in the church choir. Inspired by his own heartache and love of God, Jei Shinn along with his producer Mad Marvin are looking to showcase Shinn's unique voice and talent for writing in his soon to be released EP entitled 'Jei Shinn'. David was born in Philadelphia, PA. the oldest of seven children, 3-boys and 4-girls. At the early age of five he began to show interest in music. He would strum away at his toy guitar he received one christmas while his father's band would rehears in the basement. Even though he could not be heard over the drums and other instruments. It did not make a difference to him because to him he was jamming. At age 9 he was given a real guitar by an older cousin who taught him to play an old country honky tonk riff. Thus the torch was lit and the creative Juices began to flow. He was Introduced to church at an early age and loved to sing even though some thought that he should stick to playing instruments.

At age 11 he learned to play many songs by ear, which landed him in his first neighborhood band. David attended Stoddard Fleisher Junior High School where he learned to play the clarinet and alto saxophone. Not knowing how to read sheet music, he would learn by ear and memorize all the songs. As time went on he joined several other bands that traveled and played on the local circuit. He has been a member of several groups such as, The Persuasions, The North Wall Band, The Temporarily Unknown Band, Sure Fire, The Break Of Dawn, Positive Vibes, The Back In Action Band, and The Friends Group, just to name a few.

April of 1990 was an important turning point in his life. David reached out and called on the name of the Lord who answered and delivered him from the gates of hell. Returning to his church roots, he began again, to rebuild his foundation and faith in God. He joined the Hebron Tabernacle Church, where he filled in and played the piano behind the pastors wife during praise and worship services. He began to be strengthened and grow in grace more and more as he acknowledge the gift giver. As the years went by David has been the praise and worship leader for several churches, realizing that the gift of music is not just for self but to minister to others as well.

In 2011, she was invited to perform a “Proms Jazz & Classic” mini-recital at the opening gala concert of EuropaFest, an international jazz festival in Bucharest.
Between 2014-2017, she has been the vocalist of “Hot Club de Bucarest”, the promoter of jazz français in Romania. Between 2011-2013 - founding member and soprano 1 in the vocal jazz group Jazzappella. At present, she has two undergoing jazz projects with Marius Vernescu Band, as well as with the jazz guitarist Roxana Stroe. In 2016, she formed Bluesette Duo with blues singer and guitarist Alex Tomaselli, with whom she performed in several festivals, such as the International “OpenAir Blues Festival, Brezoi and on two luxury cruiselines (Estonian-Finnish and German -Norwegian) in 2017 and 2018.

In May 2018, she performed with the legendary BOBBY MCFERRIN at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, as a member of his guest Romanian vocal group, as part of his CircleSongs international tour.

The story of Benito Luis Alfonso Meeuwse A. K. A El Bandito goes way back to my childhood when
I learned to beat box and tried a lot of different instrument like: Bass guitar, Guitar, Organ, Piano,
some percussion like: Conga’s, Bongo’s, Timbales and Drums.

The electronic music thing came somewhere in 2012 also as my first gig at and old pub in my hometown
Terneuzen called: vuuf voor twaelf . To become better at producing music I decided to study
different kinds of musical genre’s (and the instruments used therein). So I studied a lot about: Reggae,
Dub, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Drumstep, Hip hop, G-funk, Funk, Disco, Latin, Blues, Jazz, Deep
House, Hardcore, and Zouk.

In 2014 the whole thing suddenly become serious when I started my own record label: Natty Dread
Head Records and then it got even more serious when I released my first full length album in 2017: The
walking Dread which is an mix between old and new styles of music.

On this label and album I worked with different kinds of artists like: Sennid, Nathalie Hernandez,
Sheik General, Vandestraate, Bdread, Ghetto youths, Sionman, and 8style.

Now, plans for the future are bright; we are going to shoot an music-video in Duisburg Germany with
Sheik General and off course we are going to plan a lot of gigs! So please come and join me in the
party!
