Sylvere hails from Paris, but his musical vision extends well beyond the borders of the French capital. He references the familiar sounds of techno and rave music, but he also pulls heavily from dancehall and the bass-heavy traditions of Caribbean soundsystem culture. He has joined Monkeytown, records, Berlin based record run by Modeselektor.

From the Midwest and now based in New Jersey, Love Higher is an emerging DJ and producer creating multi-genre experiences that tap into high-energy worldbuilding. Their sound blends a range of Hard Drum, Baile Funk, Footwork, Ghetto Tech, Techno, and more. They are the co-founder of VRRG, an online writing platform and is a part of Blessed Up Gang, a Black DJ crew based in Columbus, OH that throws quarterly dance parties focusing on the dynamics of club music. 

Notes on the Mix ///
"I wanted to create a mix that was both fun, hard and on the other hand, expansive and heartfelt. I like playing between moments of tension or building up towards a climatic moment. I do end the mix with a few favorite songs I have on repeat. And yeah, you can see  my love for percussive techno tracks into juke, or breaks. Also for this mix specifically, I was sourcing music in my collection I’ve overlooked the past two years and brought them back to front of mind, showing that my interests in music overtime is similar. Which is very, very exciting."
