K.Woon is a homegrown crate digger of dark and dissonant sounds ranging from dub to brutal techno; from IDM atmospheres to intriguing aural textures; from rhythmic noise to deconstructed beats and so on. 

K.Woon is also an academic who work on how emerging technologies, such as streaming platforms, social media, AI and algorithms- reshape the music discovery experience and suggest pathways towards a more sustainable creative industry.

This summer, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Driven by the belief that music can be a source of healing, Jacky Jeane is working to create an inclusive, caring party, with an aquatic, enveloping soundtrack. Introduced to mixing by the feminist collective MAL.E.S (Strasbourg), she draws on ambient, downtempo, UK, tribal, bass music and techno sounds, with particular attention paid to rhythms and textures. Jacky Jeane represents a modern emerging scene, happily multiplying areas of exploration, both musical and living.
