A carefully curated fundraiser VA - compiled by the inventive mind of alsofromthisplanet - with a forward-thinking cover artwork and 3D printed amulets by the talented visual artist Delphine Lejeune. Her curiosities lie within designed objects, and how they critically shape our social behaviours. A truly pioneering release at the verge of the audio, the visual and the physical. 

We are premiering ‘Blanquity’ by @agonis-amenthia , label co-owner of the highly intelligent @amenthia-recordings label. Urging half-time and eerie soundscapes like we are used to from the Basel based artist. Full track to be found in our bio.

Refraction of Light encompasses a swarm of sonic apparitions from 17 geographically linked artists. The compilation glides through an array of mesmerizing sounds; from slithering trance and crystalline techno to surrealistic DnB and entrancing electronica. A vast collection of moods spanning dawn to dusk.

The HgB capsule emerges on Amniote Editions on 23rd June. The artwork is designed by Camilla Louisa.

Emerging producer Tangerine releases her debut EP, titled First Breath. The cinematic four-tracker swiftly blends trance, psytrance, IDM, drum and bass and experimental elements, having drawn its influence from raves, film scores and the peaceful contemplation of natural landscapes.


Tangerine has previously released music on Australian labels Pure Space, Companion, Mama Snake’s Danish label Amniote Editions and London’s Local Knowledge. Tangerine also DJs, with mixes up on Animalia, Butter Sessions and Steeplejack.

To celebrate their fifth anniversary, label founders Mor Elian and Rhyw have put together a compilation that captures their strikingly fresh vision. "It's Not a Bug, It's a Feature" presents core Fever AM artists like Xen Chron and Ayesha alongside a few newcomers to the label, such as Pariah, MSJY, Peder Mannerfelt. “Looking for MTH” V/A successively stretches and contracts the passing time, or at least how we perceive it. Lose yourself in the tempo fluctuations and audio glitches, between the slow, entrancing rites of Jan Loup, Israfil and Sabla, the atmospheric dilatations of Isabassi, Marion Castor and Inhmost, or the high-paced, feverish, raging outbursts of Tera Octe, Loïcc and Tadan.

Rotterdam-based producer and sound artist Nikos lands on Flippen Bits with his debut EP, encapsulating his ever-evolving live sound in a tripped out four-tracker. 
Playfully layering rhythmic patterns, this textural debut EP takes inspiration from the sounds of techno, dub, bass music, drone, psytrance and morphs it into a trip of a debut outing.

Starting off slow and deep with trippy chugger Critter that delicately explores the spaces between the 6/8 and 4/4 metre, the EP picks up pace rapidly with the swooshing Cilia, a hypnotic techno track with breathy textures.

Nothing To Undo takes us further aspace with its polyrhythmic structures dancing around droney pads, while title track Metaturnal provides the perfect closing of the EP with psychedelic five-and-a-half minutes that continues the polyrhythmic Mantra of the EP with a more minimal approach.
