Netherlands-based BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL are a force of nature, squared. The pair combine their taste for raw and rousing music and channel influences from their respective Curacaoan and Israeli heritage to create tracks and sets that keep dancefloors mesmerized and on their toes. 

Following previous releases on SYMBOLISM, EI8HT, and Super Rhythm Trax, BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL is poised to end the year with a top-shelf party starter: 777 Squadron. Their forthcoming EP features a slew of four off-the-wall dancefloor bangers overflowing with original ideas and raw, jacking grit.

777 Squadron features four tracks: "Phaeses", "Flaming Dragon", "Freaqs In The Dark", and "777 Squadron". "Freaqs In The Dark" is a menacing, synapse-melting wobbler that nails their homage to the hypnotic sound of late-eighties acid house.

it’s funny how when we get older, we reconnect with loves from our past, and start to see the beauty in things we might have forgotten. 

this song is an ode to my lifetime of piano, and my new(ish) discovery of techno and production. 

getting to infuse my current passion with my lifelong love brings me so much joy. 

this time also coincided with rediscovering my adoration of witchcraft, and this feeling of finding community even in times of isolation.

Objector Trax, a DJ from Tbilisi, now based in Berlin, is the man responsible for DVNTT021. His EP ‘Damdev’ contains four tracks featuring Icon aka Lilith. and Jan Soto. In his track ‘Let the bodies hit the floor’ he used acapella from Drowing Pool’s track ‘Bodies’. The artist on his own words says about this track: ‘I used to listen to this track when I was a child and it reminds me of that time, the emotions, the desires that I had then. In short it is a nostalgic one.’ A track with a heavy kick, teasing changes with the bpm and a sensual snare, leading to an endless, erotic-like frenzy.
