From early 2021 to late 2022, J Phi had briefly retired from writing music in Duval County's underground. With support from his underground peers, Phi came out of retirement with the help of Bluff Gawd (who produced both "Gawd Speed" and "Gawdzilla" in 2020).

On his 31st birthday, 9/12/2022, J Phi returned with "The Akatsuki Tape" detailing pieces of his underground career between 2013-2016 from the perspectives of his favorite anime villains, The Akatsuki, from the series "Naruto: Shippuden" in their final moments.

Jacksonville, Florida's best kept secret, 'J Phi' (formerly 'Justice' and 'Justice JPhi'), has a massive underground discography spanning across the "Digital Mixtape Era."

This SoundCloud page is home for all of 'Phi's' home studio quality projects with 'Bluff Gawd,' while professionally mixed/mastered music with other producers is available on streaming platforms and YouTube.

'Phi' began writing rap music in 2000, officially joining his first rap group based out of Black Pine in Mayport, "The Black Tribe," alongside 'ALPHV' (formerly 'J. Alpha-One’) in 2009, eventually debuting in 2013 alongside 'Graffiti' in Atlantic Beach with their mixtapes, "9 to 5: the Mixtape" and "9 to 5: Overtime," during the DatPiff wave. 

‘Phi' would go on to open for many industry icons (Afroman, Jarren Benton, Nipsey Hussle, Caskey, and more) and, in 2016, lead his own local tour with the "New Jax City Movement," beside other prominent local artists like 'Wyldlife Chop,' where he also met 'Joey Tech' and formed the duo, "H3LLFIR3 & 6R1M$tON3" (HnB), working extensively with a local producer, 'Bluff Gawd,' on several albums and EPs until 2020.

After a brief "retirement" in 2021, 'Phi' returned in 2022 under the wing of his mentor, 'Infamous Skizza Reyven,' and his underground brand: "Infamous Mindz Productionz," releasing several bodies of work until ultimately creating his massive original discography... which now features several multi-platinum recording artists and Grammy nominated producers.

'J Phi' is now regarded as one of the hardest working underground recording artists Duval County has ever produced, becoming the first rap artist from Jacksonville to officially and successfully release 100 songs in one year’s time (Feb. 8th, 2024 to Feb. 8th, 2025).

From 2026 onward, 'J Phi' (due to his collaborative efforts with 'Infamous Skizza Reyven') would be most well-known for his epic Viking-themed trilogy, "Seers Of Yggdrasil," and his undying work ethic, love, and passion for Hip Hop culture and songwriting.
