INFECTIOUS - Unus Annus

These two... These two are intense. Glaring at everyone with murder in their eyes, talking about how the clock was stopped... and how they're not happy about it. Were they about to die? Did they... want to? Jeez, what's with me and bringing in so many people so obsessed with the end...? Sango looked to be in a bad state, After Hours is... the way he is, and then these two.

...Wait, hold on. Did their eyes just glow?

Fuck, I don't like this at all. I'm starting to think we need to be better about pulling in people. I don't want to be trying to rein in a bunch of suicidal maniacs and broken kids, I'm not ready for that at all. This is supposed to be who we're saving Second Heaven with?

It seems the end is not always so final. Unus and Annus have returned from the grave, a year after their demise. And they are not happy about this. Hellbent on the end, these two demons of death will rage against the dying of the light, in order to return to their own darkness... No matter what it takes. So will you join them? The Outlaw isn't exactly a talkative one, is he? I don't really mind, honestly it's loud enough in here as is, but I've read his file, and... damn, is this guy okay?? Watched his family die, dragged into a life of crime, trained to become one of the best gunslingers in the west just to have a chance to survive? Why does everyone here have some fucked up backstory?

...I guess I can't talk much, can I? I'm living through effectively a zombie apocalypse. This whole thing fucking sucks. I guess I can understand why he'd be so eager to help, though. Given he's been the villain for so long, I would want a second shot at life too. Still, I'm worried. I want to talk to him, see if I can help him feel more comfortable, but I'd hate to overstep on things, and- oh goddamnit hold on, of COURSE Modeus is all over him-

Stillness From Just A Sidearm

These two are... interesting, aren't they? They seem to both get along swimmingly and not at all. One second they're bickering, and the next they're right over each other, defending the other from a comment or a pass they didn't appreciate. They seem... close. Even still, they couldn't be further apart, beyond their interest in science. 

The queen seems to be regal and proper, but quick to drop the counteance to observe something or sputter indignantly as someone says something untoward. The machinist, meanwhile, looks to be rather unbothered, continually firing back every time one of the more rowdy members of the group gets in their business. Much more composed than Zelda. She seems to have been through a lot, her limbs are entirely prosthetic...

I wonder, what exactly has happened with these two to bring them together like this?

Who would have thought that the queen of Hyrule and the new CEO of Haltmann Works Company would get along so well? These two science-loving powerhouses may not be at their best right now, but that doesn't mean they can't come in swinging with everything they've got. Combining the world once lost, and the world of tomorrow, who knows just what magic they can conjure up together?

Welcome to Second Heaven. Infectious is a mashup/arrangement tournament by Spark Records, inspired by projects such as King For Another Day and Mashup Week, with a heavy emphasis on a dark storyline. This project is best enjoyed on YouTube, but we will be uploading tracks here as well.
