Aoyama Archive was founded by Sebastian Supel in 2017 to create a distinctive guerrilla curated archive store for fashion enthusiasts more concerned with looking backwards, not forwards. Paying homage to the three biggest fashion houses in Japan, namely: Issey Miyake, COMME des GARCONS and Yohji Yamamoto; alongside a close focus on Jean Paul Gaultier. Garments are sourced from global archives spanning 80’s, 90’s 00’s and recent collections.
