Music Arranged In A Tasteful Fashion (Featherbed Mix)

It's been quite a while since we hosted a new mix in the IFSM series, but it's with great pleasure we bring Boneless into the helm to showcase his current flavours across a pallet of styles and spectrums. As expected, the Canadian producer and DJ lays down a heavyweight sound-bending journey throughout this session, meandering between some truly heavy sounds, and the old-school licked vibes we've come to know him for. 
We were really big fans of what he laid down on Joe Nice's GourmetBeats, alongside his recent Sleepwalking on Off-Switch Audio, and if this mix is anything to go by it would appear he's sat on plenty more hot & heavy material.

After a few years of building one of the most exciting and reliable platforms in the genre, Infernal Sounds opened up another avenue in 2021 with a desire to introduce new talent to the label. Moving from a sole focus on physical vinyl releases, IFS's digital exclusive series has brought a slew of new names to the roster including Khanum, Mungk, Substrada and most recently, Mythm, Oxossi and Kodama. And with two years of these regular releases under their belt, we're treated to an album version, 'Future Forms', where these familiar names and even more roster debutants come together to contribute some of their finest cuts! Today I have the pleasure of presenting the record's finale track 'Ey!', courtesy of one of my long time favourite producers, Soukah.

Bouncing between minimalist, heavy-distorted sound and techy/trappy influences, this blend perfectly summarises his style to a tee. Soukah is a producer & DJ from southern Germany known for his dark and cinematic soundscapes. Cementing his name in the dubstep scene, he has had releases on labels such as Rarefied, DuttDutt, Silent Motion, 9Rambos, Sub Audio, cutcross to name a few. His style ranges from chilled, old school hip-hop influences across UK-bass tracks to sub-loaded forward-thinking club bangers - yet never forgetting the gothic, industrial roots that shaped his initial foray into music.
