Helix / Två Fontäner, like his previous release, Snow Sketch / Visions, is a 17+ minute slow burning exploration of ambience and rhythm.  Taking cues from the likes of Floating Points, Four Tet and Beacon, the tracks melt Tartaglione's specific brand of atmosphere with a well rounded beat.

Like the shape of it's namesake, Helix twists clanging melodic lines around a mess of white noise and a persistent backbeat.  The track eventually evolves to calm with a sidestick, allowing Två Fontäner's energetic intro and droning background to follow.

Helix / Två Fontäner is the first of a number of releases this year for Planète - who looks to solidify his status as one of Australia's most intriguing producers over the coming months.

Ein neues Lied von mir. Ich hoffe, es gefällt Euch. Etwas außergewöhnlich, aber das war meine Musik schon immer.
Ich bin noch der Old School Spieler. Spur für Spur gespielt und nach Gehör gemischt.
Das ist manchmal ein ganz schönes Durcheinander, da man schon gar nicht mehr weiss, welche Noten man in welcher Spur gespielt hat. Es klappt aber  immer wieder :-)
Sicherlich kann man an einem Track sein Leben verbringen und ständige Neuerungen einspielen, aber irgendwann ist dann auch mal gut :-)
Ich habe so viele Ideen. aber die Zeit nicht dazu, daraus ein Lied zu schöpfen. Schade.
