Speed is the 8th song on the fifth album by Infinisynth, titled default. It was the first of two Infinisynth compilations released in 2006 by Dark World International, featuring songs from earlier CDs and videos. Speed was released originally on Shadow and Shade. This track was written by KarrArikh Tor, and performed by KarrArikh Tor, Kat, Kasey Tyr and Alex MacHein. It was recorded in 1995.

Speed

This is the 5th track for the new Infinisynth album, Spiral Default 2013. It was the ninth song to be written and recorded. This is one of the Power Machine saga songs (no. 6 if you wanted to know). It originally appeared on the Shadow and Shade EP. A flaw in the live recording has kept this song from CD. I missed playing this song, and have been known to riff it on acoustic quite often (if you were listening) so I have been excited on working on the release version of a song that is 'so Infinisynth'. I enjoy the new keyboards I added. This song is the introduction of Johnny in the Power Machine saga (it is followed by 'Speed', which is no. 7).  This is the final full song but not necessarily the final mix.

Family

This is the 4th track for the new Infinisynth album, Spiral Default 2013. It was the second song to be written and recorded. The working title was Untitled music 002. I wrote the music first for this song. I intended it to have vocals, so I made a rough mix of the music for me to write and rehearse the vocals with. The mix which was up here before as Untitled music 002 was the recording I wrote to. I felt the music had some light/dark dilemma going on in it, some kind of struggle. Watching news about civil wars erupting around the world, I decided to address the problem of having to choose sides. This is the final full song but not necessarily the final mix.

Sides

This is the 3rd track for the new Infinisynth album, Spiral Default 2013. It was the sixth song to be written and recorded. This is one of the original 'Subnormal Episodes' tracks from 1993, but unlike the new version, the original recording was mostly keyboards (heavy Depeche Mode influence) drums and vocals but got damaged. The song was only performed a few times live. The sequences and keyboard used got stolen in 1997 and the song never got a releasable version, but I missed the song. I went guitar heavy on this version, and played all keyboards live, instead of using a sequencer. I also added a lead section and shortened the chorus. This is the final full song but not necessarily the final mix.

Infinigroove

This is the opening track for the new Infinisynth album, Spiral Default 2013. It was the eighth song to be written and recorded. This song was the opening to Germania Saga. It was played with orchestral sounds without vocals or drums and played through the parts only once with some parted played out longer than the new version. I had liked the melodies and spent weeks trying to arrange them for bass and guitar (which were absent in the Germania Saga version). I had intended for it to be the opener of the new release, and to be an instrumental. But as soon as I started getting the side guitars, bass, and drums in I began to hear words. I recorded something as soon as I had finished writing it. Next days I awoke with changes, and added them. This is the final full song but not necessarily the final mix.
