We first released Lafa's 'Make It Up' as part of our free download series a couple of years ago and new we had to hit him up when putting together this compilation. His track 'Good Intentions' keeps you on your toes, switching up 4 or 5 times and keeping things very interesting.

Exactly 10 Years Ago I released "Digitally Deficient VDay Mix - HipHop x Love - Feb 14 2011" and little did I know that this would begin my journey into DJ'ing. Fast forward to today and I have been blessed to be featured with and play alongside some of the best musical talents from both around world and locally. Many of you have not had the opportunity to listen to my first mix as it was taken down on September 12th, 2012 due to copyright disputes. This mix features several tracks from the 1st (and 2nd HipHopxLove) mixes alongside some new ones. I wanted to both celebrate these mixes and redo some areas using the skills and knowledge I've gained over the years. 

I also want to thank my listeners both new and old who have been here from day one all the way to today and inbetween. Thank you. I originally started making these mixes for me (and I still do lol) but I also do it because its worth it to me if I know I can reach at least one listener. If you remember (or still have a copy of the first 2 mixes, please give this one a listen as its familiar but a new experience.
