Mystica – one man game

Mystica is a legendary Israeli trance act founded in Ashdod in the 1990s by Joseph Master (Yossi Master), Avi Peer, and Charlie Ben Mouha. The trio became pioneers of the melodic and psychedelic trance scene in Israel and one of the first Israeli groups to gain major international recognition.

Signed to Paul Oakenfold’s iconic label Perfecto Records, Mystica’s music quickly reached global dance floors and radio stations, influencing a whole generation of trance producers. Their classic tracks such as “Everest,” “African Horizon,” “Ashes to Ashes,” and “Send Me an Angel” became milestones in the evolution of melodic trance at the turn of the millennium.

After a hiatus, Mystica returned with a fresh, updated sound that blends modern psytrance and club trance while staying true to their original spiritual and emotional essence. Their world tour marked a successful comeback, with performances at major international festivals such as ZNA Gathering and Universal Psy Family, reconnecting with long-time fans and captivating new audiences alike.

Today, Mystica continues to release music on Perfecto Records, including a new psychedelic remix of their timeless hit “Everest.” Their work bridges the gap between deep psychedelic textures and melodic storytelling, securing their legacy as one of the cornerstone acts in the global Goa and melodic trance movement.
