Bergtagen is a Swedish word that can mean that someone has been lured into the mountain by mountain trolls,
but it also has the meaning of being utterly fascinated by something, like the incredible beauty of nature.
The stunning mountains, valleys, forests, and fjords of the Swedish region of Bohuslän have been a big inspiration
during the creation of this EP, combined with an interest to explore what can be done to twist and transform sounds.

The brain behind the Spirituz project is Gabriel Ordoñez Sanchez aka Dj Pacifist. The project was born from a huge amount of experience and inspiration throughout his lifetime.  Gabriel has been an active psychedelic trance dj, labelmanager and promotor of underground parties since 2003 together with his crew, the Hypnotica Records in Stockholm/Sweden. As well as playing all over Sweden he has played at festivals and parties in Spain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Finland, Poland, Guatemala, Japan & UK. As is often the case with talented dj's he felt that as his inspiration grew it was time to take the next step and start to produce his own sounds. His style is a powerful foresty realms for journeying deep, spectral spirits channeled from underworld beneath, hypnotic grooves guiding through inner depth of visions and dreamweaving many layers and intricate patterns arisen.

Static Corn is a minimal psytrance project that was active primarily between 1999 and 2007, created by an artist known as DEHN. The project is noted for its dark, groovy sound, and it gained some recognition in the psytrance community for its innovative tracks. One of Static Corn's notable contributions is the track "The Goblin vs Mr Tierney," which was released on the 2006 compilation album The Lurker by Cosmic Conspiracy Records. This compilation features various artists and is known for its deep, moody vibes, catering to fans of the minimal and dark psytrance genres.

After a period of dormancy, Static Corn was revived in 2015, inspired by a live chill-out set DEHN performed at a festival in Sweden. The reboot brought a faster tempo to the project while maintaining its signature style. In 2024, the project saw another revival, returning to its original roots with a renewed focus on the dark and groovy elements that defined its earlier work​

Have been producing music since 2009 and with the main focus on psytrance since about a year after that. This project is not limited to any particular subgenre. Currently with tempo ranging from 115 to 202 bpm, but with the majority being around 130 and 150.
