This track does not play in any cutscenes, areas, battles or menus in Xenogears. It was intended to play during a staff credits sequence after the opening cutscene; however, this was cut because it was decided that this would make the opening sequence too long. The song is also the audio to a music video stored in the English version of Xenogears' second disc; however, this file cannot ordinarily be accessed without extraction tools or similar methods.

-Bart attempts to apologise to Fei, who tells him that he doesn't like to fight.
-Bart speaks with his late father on the Yggdrasil about how he wants to join forces with Fei.
-Margie thanks Fei for his role in rescuing her, and mentions how Bart protected her when they were captured by Shakhan.
-The area theme in Nisan between when Bart learns about Sigurd, Citan, and Solaris and when he considers Sigurd's former life as an Element (including the latter cutscene).
-Citan chats with Maison the night before Bart and his crew attempt to recapture Bledavik.
-Bart reveals the Fatima treasure is in the Mausoleum in Nisan.
-Bart and Margie use the Fatima Jasper to head deep into the Mausoleum. (The track continues as the area theme until the central area is reached.)
-Bart discusses Sigurd's past with him and Maison the night after he reclaims Aveh.
-Lacan reveals that Sophia agreed for him to paint her portrait (flashback).
-Lacan expresses his doubts about completing Sophia's portrait to Roni and Krelian.
-Margie says her final farewells to Bart before the party leaves to fight Deus.

The track is the standard battle theme of Xenogears. It also plays as the area music for the room in Nortune where Fei signs up for Battling. It also plays for the following scripted battles:

-The Forest Elves in the Blackmoon Forest.
-Gonzalez, Big Joe, Scud, and Dan in the Aveh Tournament.
-Shakhan's troops in Nisan. (The music continues as the area theme until all the soldiers are defeated.)
-Shakhan's troops in the Nisan Mausoleum.

Finally, it plays in the cutscene when Shakhan enters the Nisan Mausoleum after Bart opens it up. (The music continues as the area and cutscene theme until Margie activates Andvari.)
