Snack Cat is an exciting new band comprised of some of NYC's most respected young musicians. The bands sound is a cross between soul/rock/jazz/ blues and funk. . During there short time together Snack Cat has already played some of the cities top venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, Groove and The Bitter End. Snack Cat was also part of the 2015 CMJ music Marathon as well as the Newer Sounds 3 Year Anniversary Show.
Snack Cat's members have attended the Nations top Conservatories such as The Manhattan School of music, The Peabody Conservatory, UNT and Eastman School of Music.  The bands members have played many of the countries top venues including The Kennedy Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, The Music Hall of Williamsburg, The Meadowlands, The Jazz Standard, Webster Hall, Summerfest, The Iridum, The Montreux Jazz Festival and Avery Fischer Hall. Their Vocalist, Alita Moses was also the winner of the 2014 Montreux jazz jazz vocal competition.



The name RECON is short for reconnaissance which is the military term for exploring beyond the area occupied by friendly forces to gain vital information about enemy forces or features of the environment for later analysis and/or dissemination. There are 3 specific types: Terrain-Oriented, Force-Oriented, and Civil-Oriented. Considering the material, psychological, and spiritual warfare taking place in our world today I adopted this name as being uniquely suited for what I seek to express through my artistry.

Aubrey Johnson is a New York-based vocalist, composer, and educator who specializes in jazz, Brazilian, and creative contemporary music. She currently holds faculty positions at Berklee College of Music and Queen College in New York City, and has previously held faculty positions at the New England Conservatory and Montclair State University. Aubrey has performed with the Lyle Mays Quintet, Jimmy Cobb, John Patitucci, Janis Siegel, John Zorn’s Mycale Vocal Quartet, Fred Hersch’s Pocket Orchestra, among many others. She recorded on Bobby McFerrin’s 2010 Grammy-nominated release, VOCAbuLaries. Her performing and teaching has taken her throughout the US and Canada and to Central and South America, Europe, and Asia. Aubrey’s debut record featuring her original music and arrangements, produced by Steve Rodby of the Pat Metheny Group, will be released in March 2020.

Monotronic is the brainchild of guitarist/producer Ramsey Elkholy. The band is a collection of NYC-based musicians that blend a wide array of genres to produce their own unique sound, best described as a mix of electronic dance music with strong world music influences.
