This is an experimental track built from fieldrecordings using feedback. The creation was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0590 (details see below).
Two fieldrecordings of a dishwasher made in parallel with dictaphones and a fieldrecording of a brook (https://freesound.org/people/RabMusicLab/sounds/653906/) were enhanced with gentle feedback. The track presented here was combined from these three recordings and their feedback versions.

Dishwasher And Brook (Disquiet0590)

For this project I used a message someone left on my answering machine in 2000 or 2001. The message was clearly not for me and I am not sure what it means (or even what language it is). My guess is “Goran Bocic has a daughter, call her” (based on the guess that it is Bosnian).

So I chopped up the recording in koala sampler, did a little beat, some beeps, and left a lot of empty spaces to fill for someone else. I did not process the recording in any way and all the samples are in their original loudness and pitch. Also I did not use any effects, that’s for the next person. If someone wants to use the  original recording, drop me a line.

I added a track to @cjmcgregor 's submission

I recorded an improvisation in response to the initial track and then chose a 12 bar loop to cycle against the original 10 bar loop. To break the repetition I manipulated my loop with cableguys shaperbox. To top it off I added some depth with a bit of delay and a hint of vocoder.
