Without further delay, I’m proud to share with you my much requested set from Breakfast of Champion + It’s A New Day on New Year’s Day 2024!  I would have loved to share my live recording but due to a technical difficulty, I had to recreate the magic in a studio mix. It was amazing to kick off the new year with joy, love and hope rocking my set on the Heavy Petting Zoo stage to a sea of party people and all my friends up on stage. The highlight was debuting the track that DJ Denise and I produced at the top of my set. It’s always one of my favorite events of the year and this year was no exception. Live at Breakfast of Champions + It's A New Day 2024

The original idea was to post this around my birthday in March, after getting about halfway through I realized March wouldn't happen because... well, I was only about halfway through. I parked it to focus on other things. Then came incredibly sad news about friend and Space Cowboy, Danny. He was always a fan of the BBQ sets, and frequently asked when I'd get to another. Yesterday was Danny's birthday, so I carved out time and finished it up. Not perfect, but long af, and hopefully suitable for BBQing. RIP Danny, hope he bumps this at the big grill in the sky.

To have so many of the old school Bay Area burning man crews pool their energy and resources to bring community together into one place, was just phenomenal. When Tamo first told me about the plans for the event, I got really excited, especially when she told me that there would be turntables poolside. I immediately started digging through my vinyl and reminiscing of the days when we would all dance together to these records. Each one of these tracks is like an old friend and getting to play them again for a dance floor of chosen family was a real treat. After the overwhelming response to Volume 1 I knew that making Volume 2 was a tough challenge,  so it took a while  to make sure this mix lived up to the success of the first one. Some of the finest moments of my career have been playing Breakbeat. I feel that’s what makes this genre of music so special. I have met some of the most amazing people and experienced incredible highlights in my career. The Breakbeat Junkie rose to fame in the early days of the Nu Funk Breakbeat mid tempo scene with a tonne of Funky Breaks tracks mostly released through the Goodgroove label. His tracks and remixes have graced other labels too such as Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and he secretly known to be part of the duo Second Hand Audio. This mix was a promo for Goodgroove Records for the year 2008.

If we were to assume the existence of a simulation, however, and explore the concept of it through sacred geometry, we might consider the following:

Understanding Sacred Geometry
Sacred geometry is the study of the shapes, patterns, and symbols that are believed to have spiritual or mystical influence. 

Frequency and Vibration:
   * Resonance: If the simulation operates on specific frequencies, understanding and manipulating these frequencies could help influence its functioning.
   * Harmonics: Using sacred geometric patterns and their corresponding vibrational frequencies might create interference or resonance that could influence the simulation.
 
   * Code and Algorithms: Sacred geometry might represent underlying patterns or codes within the simulation. Identifying and manipulating these patterns could potentially create opportunities to influence the simulation.   
   * Entropy: Introducing chaos or randomness into the simulation's ordered patterns could influence its underlying code. 

   * Higher Dimensions: If the simulation exists within a higher-dimensional space, understanding and interacting with these dimensions could potentially allow for accessing hidden functionalities.
   * Fractal Patterns: Sacred geometric patterns often exhibit fractal characteristics, which could be used to influence the simulation's scale or structure.
