Each of the four tracks that make up his debut release on our label showcase a slightly different side of his art, commencing with the blurry, switchblades-and-circuitboards Cyberpunk gurgler that is Terra Firma, and ending four tunes later with the smacked out dissociative crescendos of Clandestine, having zigged through the celestial heights and murky depths of Bermuda, and zagged through the pummeling tour de force that is Alien Trip, and honestly, who even does that anymore? Taking influences from dub, jungle, oldskool and minimal drum & bass, Cybin’s sound ranges from break driven jungle rollers to smoother liquid vibes. 

Cybin are the duo behind Lockdown Recordings, which has built a solid reputation over the last decade for nurturing and bringing through new talent to the forefront of drum & bass.

Scepticz - Relate [Premiere]

"Yo Bro - LP" - 21 tunes to forget 2020
About two years ago we started the release series "Yo Bro" together with some of our closest artists. After countless positive feedbacks and requests for participation in this project, we decided a year ago to turn the third "Yo Bro" release into our first Various Artists LP. After a year of planning and work, this centrepiece is finally complete. The compilation features artists from eight different countries and three different continents. It was important for us to create an interesting musical and human balance for this release. The "Yo Bro - LP" stands for the diversity of the dark, deep and rolling side of contemporary Drum & Bass.

@ophobot is still a rather unknown name in the Drum & Bass scene.  But you should have his name on the radar! The german artist proves this again with his song "LA Resonators". A groovy but deep Drum & Bass roller, which fits perfectly to the contemporary Drum & Bass dancefloor.

Aaron Jay is head of A&R and owns Influence Records. 

Aaron started DJing in 1997. Between 2001-2003 Aaron was invited on a regular basis to warm up the bar at Bryan G's weekly night Movement which led him to be noticed by the scenes major players. 

2003-2011 Aaron Jay was made resident at Fabio's legendary night Swerve, playing every month to the dub hungry punters who like their rhythms soulful and funky. 

To support this Aaron joined premier DJ agency Groove Connection, joining an A-List roster that included Drum and Bass Pioneers Fabio and Grooverider. 

Known for playing Detroit Techno, Dub, Jazz, Rare Groove and deep inspired Drum and Bass, he has also gone on to perform at such legendary venues as Fabric, The END, CABLE, Heaven, Brixton O2 Arena as well as playing abroad. 

In 2008 Aaron set up Influence Records - supporting artists such as; Easy and Geeks, Commix, Jay Dubz, Mr Joseph, Lynx, Phil Tangent, CPH, A-Audio, Conrad Subs, Seba, L-Side, Hobzee and Zyon Base, HLZ, Dave Owen, Sergio Manifesto, Random Movement, Duoscience, Flaco, Bungle, Zero T, Conrad Subs, KMTR, Soul Intent, Brother, ICR, Kjell, Bal, Data, Sinistarr, Undefined, Atom, RawQ plus many others. 

Influence reflects his personal style, drawing upon deeper and leftfield flavours within the genre. Aaron Jay also teamed up in the studio with Lynx (Hospital Records, Creative Source, Soul:r, Detail) and has released two singles on Doc Scott's 31 Records.
