We're pleased to welcome back the mega talented J. Kong for what will be his last EP under this moniker before moving to a new alias for 2023. This does not mean the end for In:flux and J. Kong though, as we plan to continue working with the producer under his new alias 'imakemusicbtw' on projects from next year onwards, and as you will see the two original tracks see a co-production credit for this new alias to help facilitate new beginnings whilst simultaneously bringing an era to a close.

This is still vintage J. Kong, with musicality in spades and his signature stripped back drums driving the tracks along in a way only he can. This time round he's gone big with lovely micro-transitions and glitches, and this is a sign of what the new alias may encompass, whilst still retaining everything we have loved about J. Kong for these past few years.

On remix duty it is none other than label bosses Tik&Borrow who are back once again on remix duty following their flip on SHVA's EP back in June. This time the duo take B-side 'Pass' and give it the sound system treatment with rolling distorted subs accompanying the lovely vocal stabs from the original, before progressing the tune into a future garage affair for the final stages.

We've had the pleasure to work J. Kong on this project for the past 4 years, releasing 4 EPs, tracks across several compilations and too many remixes to count. We look forward to continuing this on his new project throughout 2023 and beyond!
