This week’s In The Basement features a live recording of Paul Inflyte’s set from
last weekend’s Sasha & Digweed aftershow in Belfast. Having supported the
duo many times over the years — from Shine and the Ulster Hall to Custom
House Square, Paul returned to headline the afters in Room Two at the
Telegraph Building for Shine.

This is the final hour of his set: deep, rolling house and hypnotic techno
capturing the energy and atmosphere of an unforgettable night in the city.

I recently had the pleasure of playing another Kiss & Groove night, with @toytonics' @virginie_aka_vir and Kiss & Groove founder @monixon-dj. Soulfie steps into our Spotlight Mix with a groove heavy house session built on soul, disco, and Brazilian swing. We first saw her at the Toolroom Academy x Crossfader party at ADE in Amsterdam and her energy was instant. This mix is packed with warmth, bounce, and proper dancefloor moments.

Originally from Santa Catarina and now based in São Paulo, Soulfie blends her soul and disco roots with classic house influences like Larry Levan and Louie Vega. Her sets move with groove and feeling, never needing big BPMs to lift the room.

This mix features tracks from Angelo Ferreri, Soul Central, Full Intention, Corrado Alunni, Mercer, Jay Vegas, Ghostbusterz, and more. Expect funk, swing, disco sparkle, and a few short edits from Soulfie herself.

Spotlight Mix: Soulfie

Hard to believe we’re on volume 5 of the annual Razor-N-Tape Family Affair compilation, but time flies when the RNT fam is having fun! As always, it’s a wide-ranging collection of vibes and grooves from the extended international Razor-N-Tape network. There are nods to legends like Depeche Mode (via a Sons remix) and The Stone Roses’ “Fools Gold” reimagined by Rabbit In The Moon, alongside fresh heat from DJ Minx, Weska, and Damon Jee.
