Few in dance music have enjoyed a career as glorious as that of Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden.
One of the definitive voices of dance music at the turn of the millennium, the duo returned in 2017, reinvigorated, with crowd-funded album ‘The Only Road’. It was their first artist LP in over 10 years.
An indie-spirited curveball, the album was a critically acclaimed phenomenon: 17 million streams worldwide. A global tour taking in Creamfields, Burning Man, EDC and Tomorrowland. Gabriel & Dresden’s first GRAMMY nomination courtesy of a barn-storming Cosmic Gate remix of ‘Only Road’.
Embracing their return to the manic, disorienting life of touring, the duo sought respite in the tranquility of their Spokane studio. Here, ensconced in the stillness of nature, the next chapter of the Gabriel & Dresden story was written: a new album called ‘Remedy’.
Once again partnering with their fanbase, Josh and Dave received the backing of over 650 kickstarters for the production of the new LP.
Lead single ‘Coming On Strong’ reunites Josh and Dave with Sub Teal (Brittany O’Neil), the song writing trio behind the GRAMMY nominated ‘Only Road’.

‘Remedy’ was released in January 2020 and was inspired by the comfort humans can find in nature. Accruing over 3.5 million streams to date, the duo were in the midst of a worldwide tour when the pandemic began. Locked at home, Josh and Dave embraced livestreaming immediately. Gabriel & Dresden’s ‘Club Quarantine’ has become a place for their fans to escape and connect on Twitch. The duo stream almost daily. 

Following the release of remixes from ilan Bluestone & Maor Levi, Genix, Qrion, Lumïsade, Myon, Fatum and more throughout 2020, Anjunabeats pleased to present the full ‘Remedy’ (Remixed) package. 

The remix album features five new reworks: Finnish dance icon Darude makes his Anjunabeats debut with a fast-paced take on ’Twelve’, while fellow veteran producer Mike Saint-Jules returns to remix ‘Keep On Holding’. Mike’s last remix on Anjunabeats, a spin on Super8’s ‘Cre8’, came out ten years ago.

One of the latest additions to the Anjunabeats roster, progressive duo gardenstate (aka Marcus Schössow & Matt Felner) rework ’Something Bigger’, which was first heard on Club Quarantine last year. Rounding off the package are a pair of hotly-tipped new producers: Nourey and Entel.
