Oh man, your marching-tom All-of-the-Lights-ish fills hype me up

Okay, essay time, sorry: Man, your tracks often leave me with conflicting emotions! Like here, you mostly have an excellent grasp of the production, it's very smooth and competent. But then you suddenly have something like the resonant waves at ab. 1.20. - cool effect, but way too piercing as it is. Admittedly, I might not even have given particular attention to that if the rest of the production wasn't so damn smooth! The melody starting at 2.00 - so cool. But then you chart off into some (to me) totally random scales and odd phrasing decisions that somehow feel like they were being made by a machine and not a human! Again: It might not even have bugged me if everything else wasn't so goddamn perfect! But honestly, apart from that: Pads, drums and perc, bass, melody lines, general mood - bloody brilliant!

I enjoy this style and the mix is really good I think.

Nice transition! This track is a lot of fun, just like your other tracks :D

Loving the bongo drums, nice sound design. I also liked the metal sound that Schiing pointed out, but maybe just needs to be bit quieter in the mix. I enjoy doing stuff like that myself as a fellow beginner :D

many top quality moments in this track with the melody lines and progressions. for me maybe the very last 'weird' high change was a 'weird too far' - but I'm not even sure of that. You have created some really cool music in this track!

"Ooriv the weird professor was close to despair and wanted to give up so many times... He just couldn't do it and yet another village lay in ruins. He had followed the notes exactly. But every time he tried to create a Phoenix, it turned into a fire-breathing monster that knew neither friend nor foe. This time it hit Harold's flock of sheep... Only a few animals survived the attack. Fortunately, the creature turned back to ash in a few minutes. Was the merchant in KreVaRon ripping him off when he sold him the old manuscript from Ragnarök? He made his way to his old mentor Norat. He looked at the notes, but couldn't find any serious errors. Of course, as always, he found fault here and there. He was never completely satisfied with Ooriv's work, but that was always incentive enough to continue. Ooriv took notes and went back to his laboratory to try again. This time it had to succeed..."

I created this song in the last few days, it was a busy month. The synth itself is a decent one, could be someone's first synth as it's designed to learn. The controls are pretty basic and the FX section lacks some crucial parameters (like low/high filtering for reverb/delay). The synth has its own character though. It's reminiscent of 90's virtual analog synths with that characterful phase restart effect when unison mode is turned on. I could even make some cool rave sounds with it.

This is my new slow rolling darksynth song with doom/power metal influences as I think this sound fits the synth really well. I've been working with ODIN 2 few years ago. The synth has really good layout and selection of modules and I especially like it's feature of multi stage saturation/distortion that you get from filters and amp section. You can create a really thick analog style sounds with it. I also like the new UI and new features.

Polymorphism (OSC 120 SE-PolyMod)

OK, I've been away for a while. 

I wanted to make something simple but effective. Something retro'ish with a twist. Just like this months's synth. I was surprised how good it is in terms of analog modelling (said a man who never heard an analog synth in RL). Than I found a modulation matrix that released a living hell out of it. It has great potential for industrial and noise music for sure. Modulating oscillators with each other can get so extreme that it will create an almost chaotic waveforms. You can even get the noises of your motherboard or videcard, or perhaps any other electronic equipment. And ofcourse there is a possibility to emulate some sorts of old school hardware (in musical ways).

Althrough, there is some stability issues. It crashes my DAW each time I close the project (which is a minor thing but still annoying). And ofcourse there is a whole bunch of quirks, such as wierd mouse movements (thanks MadPsyance) and unintuitive behavior of some components. But I thinks it is pretty useful and deserves a use in commercial mixes. And it's "hardware madness" capability that you can get perhaps only in Modular in real world. I will definately use it in my sound design sessions.

I create music as a hobby, mostly ambient and electronic (retro inspired), but I'm open to (almost) every genre and style of music. I make music that is interesting to me and I like to experiment. It's usually hard to me to stay in the boundaries of a certain genre.

My music is royalty free, meaning you can possibly use it in your own productions such as YouTube videos, videogames, movies etc. I sell music in my shop (downloadable in lossless format), but you can get it for free when it's released.
