One of our favourite Afro releases this year is D4NYO remix of "Arida" on Redolent Music. The mix of hypnotic vocals and a killer groove had us straight into D4NYO's DMs asking for more. His reply was this superb version of the Ruy Maurity classic, "Quizumba De Rei". Here he takes the Brazilian staple and flips it into sweet Afro territory with some cool congas and live guitar licks. It's a peach.
