We are happy to release our label's anniversary compilation called X. A label showcase and an inside peek at our musical DNA, with art for this occasion by the virtuoso Rosenfeldtown.

When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn't have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspire us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn't changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.

Technicolor Dream Goat is the story of a randy goat boy named Pan, who while on a diplomatic mission deep in cyberspace, stumbled upon a coat so powerful it would change the course of history. When randy Pan wore this jacket, it gave him the power to play the bass like an intergalactic wizard. It was a psychedelic coat and he was a funky junky. A bass so deep and creamy it brought peace and order to the galaxy. A jacket so psychedelic, it sends cosmic rays directly to the loins of its onlookers. But if in the wrong hands, this jacket would create immense chaos and a force so seductive it would get you pregnant just by looking at it! Sit down, strap in, and brace yourself for a mind-melting sonic adventure into the kaleidoscopic world of the Technicolor Dream Goat!

This is a huge collection of audio pleasure from the Braincell studio starting with a psychedelic trance master class of 9 lessons in the freshest, tweakiest, groovy, most rocking, heads-down, hands-up, feet-pounding, big smiles and pupils fully-dilated kinda way, before landing in 11 of the most lush chilled-out soundscapes and gentle beats to lull you into the most comfy mind set you could ever wish to find yourself diving into.

Having traveled with his wife and two small children to all kinds of interesting and far-flung places Braincell breathed in the magic of our planet while making recordings and mapping out new ideas on a portable studio set up, laying the foundation for this epic ode to the one that nurtures us, Mother Earth in all her glory, GAIA.

Thelios is a new psytrance project from 23 years old French producer, Theo Maisons. Despite his energetic nature, he started music quite late by playing drums which gave him a musical background in terms of rhythm. Some time later during his studies, he discovered electronic music which was a real discovery for him and a lighting strike. Then, the desire to create this futuristic and upbeat music quickly matured in his mind.

Thelios has always been influenced in his creative process by many musical styles such as funk, jazz, rock, rap and many more ... Now he wants to progress and evolve in the psytrance world by creating rich sounds and unique atmospheres and by offering rhythmic and dynamic music. His goal is to create a cheerful and playful atmosphere on the dancefloor in order to give the smile and a good mood to the greatest number.

Come and discover his productions and let yourself be carried away by the bouncy atmosphere offered by his music !

We hope that you will enjoy this release as much as anyone involved had pleasure to bring it to life.

Invent The Future

Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos from Greece. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky! 

After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born in 2014. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are building their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, Sonic Loom and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts are signed with Sangoma Records and so far released on TIP Records, Nano Records, Future Music Records, Blacklite Records and more. Ingrained Instincts have been busy touring around the globe and have performed live at some of the biggest festivals of the Psytrance scene such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Antaris, FreeEarth, Indian Spirit, Kosmos and many others… 

This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.
