Sangoma Records brings you a new compilation assembled by none other than Emiel himself who has been tweaking and fine-tuning this story to perfection and obsessing over the smallest details, which brings us to the theme of this release. "Mantis Mundi" is inspired by the phenomenal painting by the visionary and artistic genius Robert Steven Connett, and revolves around musicality in insects. The tiny, adorable, fascinating, and often alien-like creatures use sound to great advantage in trying to earn a living in a resource-limited, and frequently hostile, environment – making sounds like instrumentalists through specialized body parts and using many methods and techniques. Ingrained Instincts & Konebu - Hexapods

Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos from Greece. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky! 

After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born in 2014. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are building their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, Sonic Loom and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts are signed with Sangoma Records and so far released on TIP Records, Nano Records, Future Music Records, Blacklite Records and more. Ingrained Instincts have been busy touring around the globe and have performed live at some of the biggest festivals of the Psytrance scene such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Antaris, FreeEarth, Indian Spirit, Kosmos and many others… 

This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

Lua Souza (Newmoon), nascida em Aracaju, teve seu primeiro contato aos 7 anos com a musica eletrônica de baixo bpm vendo seu tio tocar em aniversários e mixar musicas em sua CDJ e pick-up, musicas mais tribais e melódicas. 
Aos 14 teve seu primeiro contato com o mundo Psychedelic Trance vendo DJs de renome do Psytrance, Full on Night e Progressive, realizando festas de forma harmônica e envolventes. Através de muita pesquisa, Dj Newmoon traz seu Dj Set de high bpm, com uma mescla marcante do bass line e grooves ritualístico. Envolvendo e engrandeço de forma harmônica e também espiritual para o momento de transe (trance), com mantras e cânticos de origens do oriente.
