The world is in turmoil and 2020 continues to be an emotional year for all of us.

So it does for our friend Inherit the world, whom we invited this month to our Loser podcast series. 

A podcast which sounds like it sounds, as in a time of thoughtfulness and self reflection, Inherit the world locked himself into his studio in Kreuzberg to treat himself with some bass-heavy music and a bottle of read whine. His mix reflects his own melancholic state of mind during lonely moments in quarantine at the beginning, as much as his desire to let loose and have fun again as the set progresses and speeds up.

Inherit the world was born in Germanys biggest industrial metropolitan area - the Ruhr area - where he started to surround himself with Punkrock and Hardcore music. As he was a musical and creative person ever since, he soon got hooked on making his own music by playing the drums. So it just was natural for him to start producing his own tracks when he became interested in electronic music at the age of 15.

Spending his teenage years in and around Essen, he became resident DJ at the local "Hotel Shanghai“ nightclub, where he had the pleasure to play alongside some of Germany’s and the world’s biggest names in electronic music from the age of 18. 
Getting more and more sucked into electronic music, he decided to become an Audio Engineer and started to release his own productions on labels like VFMM and Inhale Exhale.

We are more than happy to have Inherit the World on board for our Loser Podcast series and give him the chance to express and share his own feelings and emotions during quarantine with all of you in this very special podcast.

It’s mid summer 2020 and we are ultimately starting to miss having fun behind and in front of the DJ booth day in night out. 

But it is not only us being overrun by severe dancfloor nostalgia, also rosi96 from Munich, whom we invited for this month’ podcast, can tell a story about that.

You might know rosi96 from her radio show “rosi96.de” at Radio 80000, our all favourite German underground radio station based in Munich, where she presents a diverse mix of her favourite Genres like DNB, Downtime, Dubstep, Techno, Trap, Experimental, Trance and Breaks once a month.

If she isn’t playing records or enjoying herself dancing as part of the crowd, she’s studying computer science. Following rosi on social media, it becomes obvious that she has a deep affection for art, an eye for details and for capturing everyday absurdities. So it feel just natural that she will be moving on to intensify her passion by moving her studies to media art to the end of this year.

For Loser Records, rosi96 recorded this multifaceted mix, blending some of her favourite genres like Bass, Trap, Downtempo and Dub, as if she never had done anything else.
