Moscow's duo Odopt debut on the Emotional Especial with an EP of discordant, darkroom bangers for the end of days. Following acclaimed releases for Born Free, Discos Capablanca and Hivern Discs. Ivan & Grisha - former residents of the infamous Denis Simachev Bar who glided aboard the Salon des Amateurs, Sameheads, Opium, Golden Pudel, 20/44 caravan with ease - present a 4 tracker of propulsive techno-house chamber music for these modern times.
Our pick falls on 'A14' with their nefarious, sonic industrial funk on max. Samples reverberate around a dystopian shell, before playful tonalities swirl you higher. As hands to the sky as Odopt will ever witness. There is true beauty in the night.

Zillas on Acid make their Inside Out Records debut with an EP showered in hope for a better summer. “A Wonderful Time in a Terrible Club” is certain to become a favourite for the dancefloors, joined closely by “Not Really”, thanks to the latter’s addictive acid hook and vocals. The genius Fantastic Twins breaks from working on her own projects to morph “Wonderful Time in a Terrible Club” into a psychedelic, magical journey. “You You You You” has the more trademark Zillas hypnotic groove, with Black Merlin warping its vocals and bending the track into a darker, more ambient 10-minute re-creation. The words were hard to come by, she'd sat in silence for what felt like hours trying to articulate herself but it was impossible: words continued to fail her. She stared at a fixed point on the wall, unable to pull her gaze away, hoping this focus would bring with it a sudden brainwave. His eyes burned into the back of her head, his patience wearing thin now. She knew talking was the only logical solution, but it was easier said than done.

Oddball Fantasies is a new label springing up from Brussels way. For their inaugural release they've called on the talents of Invisible Inc and Chambre Noir producer Puma & The Dolphin who delivers an eponymous four-tracker of organic, rhythmic delights. Described as "a ritual dance to take you to other worlds", the collection of psychedelic slow burners and enchanting grooves pull from dub and leftfield, and are just as suited for home listening as soundtracking hazy late nights on the dance floors.

Originally released in Japan in 2015 on DJ Emma’s Nitelist Music as part of its Acid EP series, only a small handful of copies of this 12” made it to Europe. JD Twitch was lucky to score a copy and both tracks became firm favourites in his sets and much asked about. Twitch felt this music deserved a wider audience so was kindly granted permission to reissue it on Optimo Trax. 

Yet another double A side release, A1, Hiroshi Watanabe’s - Infinity Sign is a hypno ecstatic acid piano-tingling monolith. A2, Kuniyuki’s  Acid Air is a slow building organic percussive acid freak out that WILL cause a freak out on the floor.

It is hard to do anything with a 303 that is interesting these days but both the tracks on this 12" are 100% club classic.

We at Feinstoff are really happy to share with you all the fourth release of British/Albanian imprint "Olimpiada". 'Zig Zag Sea EP' by the Albanian project 'Pines In The Sun'. Mastered by Rich Lane at Cotton Bud Mastering. 

This is a debut release for the Tirana Based duo Lindi aka Uj Pa Gaz and Olsi of Radioblog Tirana. 

Both tracks were recorded in Sep 2018 at Bunec beach in the south coast of Albania. The sound is a mix of balearic, dub, psychedelic, downtempo, think the Adriatic zig zag sea meeting the Ionian sun. Here comes a special remix from the tici taci label boss Duncan Gray!

Martin Jenkins, more commonly known as the artist Pye Corner Audio, epitomizes Lapsus' commitment to cutting edge sound experimentation. In 2017, he beguiled the electronic music community by releasing the 'Where Things Are Hollow' EP, on Lapsus Records. Now we are delighted to announce the release of ‘Where Things Are Hollow 2’, consisting of three brand new original cuts and a breath-taking remix from none other than John Talabot.

'Where Things Are Hollow 2' explores a spectral and hypnagogic terrain, establishing an electronic sound that at times invokes Jenkins’ more dance friendly facet -'Self Synchronize', 'Weather The Storm'– while also offering his familiar iridescent dreamlike ambient textures –'Phase B'– that featured prominently on his first EP.

This second EP also includes a remix from John Talabot, unquestionably one of Spain’s most internationally recognised names over the last decade, who exquisitely reimagines 'Resist' -a song from the first EP-, transforming it into a cross between EBM and hypnotic techno.

From a graphic design perspective, renowned artists Alex Trochut and Basora have once again collaborated on this project, repeating the formula that made the artwork for "Where Things Are Hollow" such a collector's item.
