El Búho is a UK producer now based Mexico City whose music draws the lines between electronic production, found sounds & organic samples and Latin American rhythms and folklore. He has released music on ZZK Records, Antartek Records and his latest EP Cenotes through Wonderwheel recordings and remixed for the likes of Chancha Via Circuito, Nicola Cruz, Tremor, Luzmila Carpio, Lucas Santana and Lulacruza amongst others

As well as curating the album A Guide to the Birdsong of South America he is also one of the co-founders of the Shika Shika with Argentine producer Barrio Lindo. He is currently working on his first LP.

This mix is 40 minutes of unreleased material, edits, remixes and music made specifically for Voodoohop!

For thousands of years, nestled between cliffs that Pacific Ocean swells have carved out of the Southern Chilean coast, the gentle Rio Lliuco has sculpted a mystic, idyllic valley that the Mapuche people have called home for fishing and gathering. 

Today Manquemapu, a community of about 125 inhabitants, is working to open its doors to visitors to improve their economy, preserve their culture and tell their story to the world beyond these misty mountains.

2018 has been a crazy year - filled with moments that could make you lose hope in humanity but also little glimmers of hope. 

This mix just kind of happened, as the best musical things do. It is music from all over, old and new, electronic, acoustic, downtempo sped up, uptempo slowed down, mixed together, weaved in and out, criss-crossed and faded into a journey. Music without borders.

Stiller y Nave Migratoria se conocieron durante un evento acerca de la escena electrónica berlinesa del Instituto Goethe en la ciudad de Bogotá. Directamente se dieron cuenta de que tenían el mismo amor por la música electrónica mezclada con sonidos orgánicos y tradicionales del continente latinoamericano. 

Ahora residentes en Alemania, siguen intercambiando música casi a diario. Las circunstancias actuales fueron una oportunidad para ellos de juntarse en casa y el resultado es este set que grabaron en back to back de manera espontánea en Colonia el mes pasado.
