A 20 yr old beatmaker hailing from Brazil, Neguim has officially joined our ranks as one of the most gifted artists that we stumbled upon in recent years. Soul is abundant in his bloodstream, as every track is laced with that rawness. Whether its a modern funk number, a straight-up sample chops affair or Trap sounds, Neguim has really nailed it. The force is strong in this cat, and we intend to glide with him to the next level.

This is a collaboration we did during a 3 day Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp in San Francisco. Everything in this track was created and recorded in 1.5 days in the hotel room where RBMA had set up a few gears for us. Shouts to Red Bull Music Academy!!

While looking for new artists to expand the INI catalog we stumbled upon Shak, an 18-year-old producer from the Netherlands who surprised us with his deep & soulfull approach on bassmusic, we instantly fell in love with his sound and where happy to release his work. 

With Empty Rooms Shak creates a nice balance between soulfull vibes & future beats. 90's r&b/rap vocalchops weaved in between deep pads & laidback G-funk synths. Behind this warm sounds lay 808 drum lines providing instant drive. 

For this EP fellow dutchies Koen, Nangdo & Manik each picked a song and contributed a remix bringing shak's sound to different directions
