too many legends in the zoggs! ++ an unending tide of radio headz broadcasting their souls in the noodio. i shit you not, against the hyper-saturation of psycho-mania dj narcissism, you’re the people I admire most. sharing and enjoying what matters just for the love of it.

one noods resident with a knack for sharing super great music is angelkin. her monthly transmission is, hands down, one of my favourites. always full of original sounds and lucid narratives. 

no shock then that what marissa shares here is in a world of its own. experimental, melodic, and drenched in emotive realism.

Interview with Kosa aka Francis Manne, another Vox Populi! musician, whose personal work he is releasing on vinyl these days. Title: CYSP - S/T (LP)

A mysterious musical outfit said to be consisting of two Swedes with affinity for frog-esque sounds and post-trance aesthetics makes out what is CYSP. CYSP is also an acronym of CYbernetic SPatiodynamic, aka the first spatio-dynamic sculpture, having total autonomy of movement as well as axial and eccentric rotation. The sculpture is celebrated as an early work of cybernetic character that made it into the world of art. Now how do these two phenomena relate to each other? I have no clue..

This sounds like it could have been crafted in an eerie barn in the remote countryside, serving as a never-released soundtrack to an occult underground 90's film about urban trolls - it also sounds like it could be glued-together cassette scraps laying around Richard H Kirk's studio.

Laden with an almost grotesque amount of soundscaping, synthesized quirks and sonic riddles that would positively provoke any attentive listener (dancer?), it’s still weirdly danceable in the most head banging sense of the word. While pulling from the past - and meta-versically - the past’s image of the future, this is highly contemporary music - smart and stupid, deep and shallow - physical and cybernetic.

A3 CYSP - Crux Feathers

Carte Blanche to the Brussels-based artist Antonin de Bemels, presenting the promising “CAVE” by La fin des pseudonymes, to be released at the end of the week on Thin Consolation. One hour of experimental grooves, percussive sounds, and an echo chamber of krautrock to reach another world of purple twilight, iridescent arbours, and undying roses. The sounds create an atmosphere of their own, filling out an expanse of landscapes, whilst one of the previous sounds slowly morphs whilst remaining in shape. With each invocation, audiences are summoned to witness the melodic and the percussive constantly argue, in search of new paths to tread. The result is storylike and abstract. Sometimes it soars.
