For the 33th, we are please to have the duo of female artists from Macedonia Binary Thouhts (@binarythoughts)

An electronic music duo from Macedonia, currently based in Skopje. The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within.

The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. To understand nature and all its phenomena, we made a world of oppositions (day/night, sun/moon, male/female). Where the law of "all or nothing” rules, there is no in-between. But the reality is indeed always more complex and more interconnected than what our 'perception' of the world suggests.

This perception beyond this “all or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to do a project that will connect their somewhat different but similar taste in electronic music.

Their melancholic, delicate, and hypnotic sounds use 'binary thinking' as a motor to press on to a third term or a higher category that represents a transcending reconciliation or unity: where thesis and antithesis are always harnessed to yield a synthesis. Where seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary: Yin and Yang.

Multicast Dynamics aka Samuel van Dijk delivered this much expected mix to us in the beginning of Spring. This mix took us a long time to listen repeatedly, from the moment it starts to the end, we were deeply indulged in the dreamlike whirls. Such feeling lingers apart from the change of the surrounding, it even strengthens with intense stimulation. His music is rich with levels of creativity, and there are also entrances and exits; it doesn’t lose itself because the change of the environment. Saphileaum’s sound is often described as cosmic, spherical, light, visionary, innovative, tribal and hypnotic.

Please read his note :) 

"This recording is an invitation to relax  and relieve any tensions. 
You can follow the instructions below. 
Stay in Shavasana for as long as you want - let go !
Lie flat on the back with the arms about 15 cm away from the body, palms facing upward.
A thin pillow or folded cloth may be placed behind the head to prevent discomfort. A rolled up blanket can be placed under the knees, heels still touching the ground, to relieve low back tension. 
Let the fingers curl up slightly.
Move the feet slightly apart to a comfortable position and close the eyes.
The head and spine should be in a straight line.
Make sure the head does not fall to one side or the other.
Relax the whole body and stop all physical movement. 
Become aware of the natural breath and allow it to become rhythmic and relaxed".
