Tous les mois, Musical Echoes vous propose deux sélections 100% vinyles : l’une roots/digital et l’autre reggae/dub/stepper, plus actuelle. Pour cette rentrée 2016, c'est Robin qui se charge du mix dub. Collaborateur régulier de Musical Echoes, il a aussi rejoint le Zaïdub sound system il y a un an. Fondé en 2013 par Flo et résident des Lion’s Night, ce crew clermontois (63) n’a qu’un un seul objectif : faire découvrir et partager la musique roots et la culture sound system sur sa sono artisanale de quatre scoops pour des danses physiques!
Cette sélection à une seule platine en mode showcase (un morceau chanté suivi de son dub) donne à entendre quelqu'uns des plus puissants morceaux de reggae/dub du genre avec notamment de magnifiques instrumentaux... Run it selecta !

Here at Scotch Bonnet Records we love Reggae music's rich heritage. Not only is it is as strong today as it ever has been, soundsystem culture has now spread to every corner of the world. To celebrate this we have compiled a few musically important releases from some of the key musicians and producers that have influenced and nourished Scotch Bonnet records since the start. Knowing where to start was hard, but we have grappled with the slippery beast of personal taste and settled on tracks that we can all proudly stand behind. Some have appeared on single, some are dubs that Mungo’s Hi Fi couldn’t stop playing on the Soundsystem, and there are some brand new pieces to keep it crispy fresh.
