For the 26th episode of Thrènes mix series, we are thrilled to have the brilliant DJ and producer Ink!

Ink! has delivered a vibrant mix for Thrènes that not only reveals his impeccable mixing skills but also marks the polymorphous ground upon which Ink!'s talent has been molded and has been steadily growing since the late 90's. His profound connection with music is not only visible through his numerous DJ and live performances in various underground scenes in Switzerland and around the world, but also through his contribution as the co-founder of two of the most remarkable labels on the electronic scene: Hula Honeys (2007-2015) and -OUS.
This mix undoubtedly communicates Ink!'s sophisticated sense and charisma for combining silky melodies, distorted textures and dancefloor bangers all in an absolutely elegant way.

Ink! is known for sets that open windows to musical dawn, or doom. Having explored the vast lands of the Hardcore Continuum since the late 90ies, he continues to be interested in the connections between signal and noise, the in-betweens and the nuances. Feeding from Techno, Rave, Bass and Dub, and often using more than just two turntables and a mixer, Ink! stirs up sets that are invitations to loose yourself in a sea of sound.
