séverine is a DJ and producer from Long Beach, California. Between her sets, original tracks and blends, her work traverses the familiar and the far-flung—absorbing and sublimating sounds and sensations from deep within and high above.

“Dawn of the Coastal DJ” is a collection of precisely calibrated club concoctions. Each track sees disparate soundworlds fission and fuse like research chemicals combining to form new consciousness-warping compounds. Vocals from Bieber, t.A.T.u, Kevin Aviance and more form tantalising alliances with trance, ambient, techno and beyond—a union of sublime and brutal, revealing hidden and unexpected musical connections.

This release contains four delectable rave confections, topped off with a deeply secret bonus track for the club gluttons down for a second helping. Made to break sweat and stop hearts across fog-drenched dancefloors, intimate bedroom gatherings and sunset-cloaked beachfronts alike.

Finally we can release this shit........

5 tracks toiled on over the last few years, smashing together all of our influences, working with artists we love into something cohesive or whatever.

We've written an alternate conceptual version of the EP, available as a hand assembled physical release. It follows the journey of a protagonist navigating through our problematic age of relentless self scrutiny and desire for perfection.

The finale 'Dysmorphia’ (Featuring Fauness) has an accompanying video we directed, produced and edited ourselves and is a brief encapsulation of the EPs themes of metamorphosis.

We find ourselves today scattered all over, but reaching out, with so much energy. But where to put this excess energy, if our community often feels like not one, but many places?

Let’s imagine CORESPHERE: Burenhinder’s very first compilation release. We are so proud to present an 18 track album, with music by some of our favourite female* artists from both our local and global community.

CORESPHERE is imagined communal space. It is a virtual universe in which chimes a sound never heard together before, in which female* sonics ring loud and clear, resonating from the centre of the sun till deep into dark matter. Our hearts aflame.

Each artist on this compilation has her own unique sound. We hope that when you listen, you will receive just the energy you needed. We have been dreaming our utopia, and now we can also listen to it, together. It has always been and remains our mission to sustain our system.
