Desde el corazón del enigmático universo sonoro de Odagled llega The Shadows of the Past, un EP cargado de introspección y vibraciones profundas. Este lanzamiento marca el regreso de Odagled tras un período de exploración personal y creativa, donde se apartó de las demandas externas para entregarse por completo a la expresión artística pura. Bajo el sello Magician On Duty, el EP estará disponible el 17 de enero de 2025, justo antes del 29º cumpleaños del artista.

Odagled, productor español conocido por su capacidad para narrar historias a través de paisajes sonoros cuidadosamente elaborados, ha construido una carrera sólida dentro de la música electrónica. Desde su debut, ha explorado géneros como el downtempo, indie electrónico y deep house, creando un lenguaje musical propio que conecta con públicos diversos. Su último lanzamiento en 2023 marcó un punto de inflexión, después del cual decidió tomar un respiro para reconectar con su esencia artística. Este proceso culminó en The Shadows of the Past, una obra que refleja su evolución sonora y su madurez personal.

El cuarto y último track del EP, “Wheels & Waves”, encapsula el espíritu de libertad y movimiento que inspira este trabajo. Compuesto durante sus aventuras de surf-skate por Málaga, el tema fusiona un bajo profundo de Moog con grooves dinámicos del Roland 101, mientras que el Korg MicroKorg aporta un aire nostálgico que evoca los años 80. Este corte captura la alegría de la autoexploración y la energía del cambio, cerrando el EP con una nota vibrante y memorable.

The Shadows of the Past estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales a través de Magician On Duty el próximo 17 de Enero. Una invitación a explorar las sombras y encontrar la luz en su interior.
