We welcome the second coming of Tomas Bexton, a veteran crate digger and deep house & techno specialist from Maidstone in Kent, England. This is yet another vinyl-only session from a true master, hot on the heels of his debut for us in December last year as part of the Avenue Red Is 10... mini series (link below).

Now, let's just quickly make an observation - Tomas knows how to select and mix. There ain't no sync button, for he is the sync button. More black gold bullion from his magnificent and broad record collection heaped onto the Avenue Red deep summer house vibes 2024 bonfire! Hit it crew.

July’s Verdant Session is another mixed bag of solid beats on the deeper end of the techno and electro spectrum with old tunes still sounding fresh next some picks of the last months releases.   Emotive breaks from Sound Synthesis (Distant Worlds)  Mike Schommer introducing some squelchy basslines into a fine remix of StillHead on the Primary Colours, melodic and cascading layers of breaks from Kangding Ray just out on Spazio Disponibile and chunky dubby vibes from both Merv, Jamie Anderson with Owain K with their recent releases on Kontakt and Were Going Deep respectively. Electronic Convergence - Verdant Session - July 2024

Submoon aka Alesandro Tasso is a passionate producer and DJ from southern Italy.

Since 2007 his love for the Techno sounds of Dub and 90s Detroit has allowed him to experiment and express his passion as a self-taught producer releasing on record labels such as Ranges, Etui Records and Vuo records.

In 2014 he joined the Sound Department crew, spreading his idea of Dub/Techno music in one of the most active clubs in southern Italy.

In recent years he has also participated in a local collective that organizes parties articulated by different thoughts about the various possibilities that art can tell through sound, drawing, photography but also and especially perception. The culmination of everything started in 2019 with the party called "Forma," and then turned into a reality in 2021 with “Salotto Elettronico”  that is still held every Sunday at Mercato Nuovo (Taranto). During this summer he also had the chance to play at “Redrum" in collaboration with Sound Department (Taranto).

From 2016 to now he is behind the scenes of several electronic music projects, as well as curator of the record label Ranges together with his friends as well as label owners Hydergine and Kaelan/2030.

Over the years it has had the opportunity to warm up with artists such as: Marco Zenker, Fluxion, Peter Van Hoesen, Paula Temple, Shxcxchcxsh, Aril Brikha, Domenico Crisci, Stephanie Sykes, Headless Horseman, & More ....
