In 2012 a new record company was created by the name of "Soloman's Forest Records". Now, in 2016 that label is transcending and pushing into a new era with a second incarnation, under the moniker "Suleiman Records". As its predecessor, Suleiman Records is a Montreal based vinyl & digital label, founded by DJ/producer, Darem Aissa. The name of the imprint pays homage to Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of Syria's most prominent contemporary poets. Its goal is to promote and produce positive, quality electronic music, involving a diverse array of talented artists, worldwide. Taking influences from House and Techno, and the many amalgamations in between, Suleiman Records' main concept is to explore the more underground and organic side of storytelling, while retaining its artistic integrity and heightened sense of involvement with its music.

We believe Jordan Arts is the next Monolink. The 25 year old South African producer plays live guitars, synthesizers, saxophone and sings on all his tracks. This fall he has been featured in 4 page interview with Mixmag, in Beatport "introducing Jordan Arts" and headlines the Corona Sunset festival.

Following a successful year of releases and gigs South African rising talent Jordan Arts debut’s on Swedish label House Music With Love with his EP “Dreaming”.

Jordan Arts has found great success this year with releases on Zehn Records, Purified Records, Steyoyoke and now with Swedish tastemakers House Music With Love. Dreaming is about appreciating each day as if it were you last, all we have is today, so we need to make the most of it.

Jordan, equipped with his saxophone, guitar and synthesizers has seen much success with his live show, opening for acts such as Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure & Oliver Schories but this is only the beginning for the artist who has been featured in Mixmag Caribbean’s September edition. With support from the likes of Black Coffee who featured Jordan’s collaboration with Africa Deep in his “tribute to Virigl” mix on Spotify. It is clear that the 25 year old has a bright future ahead of him in electronic music.

Dreaming is his first on three singles on House Music With Love. It includes a mesmerising remix by the music genius of Casper Cole (Blaufield / Warner)

Timeless Moment is proud to present its new sub label entitled “OBSCURITY”, which will focus on a dark melodic techno experience. 

For the first release of OBSCURITY, label boss Morttagua brings a brand new updated version of his 2016 single “The Orange Theme”.

“The Orange Theme” is a cover track for the theme  song of “A Clockwork Orange”,  a 1971 dystopian crime film adapted, produced, and directed by Stanley Kubrick, based on Anthony Burgess's 1962 novel of the same name. It employs disturbing, violent images to comment on psychiatry, juvenile delinquency, youth gangs, and other social, political, and economic subjects in a dystopian near-future Britain.

In this 2022 Remake version, Morttagua brings a brand new updated mix down and mastering, making all the synths shine much brighter and clear. Morttagua also adds new percussion elements while taking out some of the old ones, making the whole production much tighter and dance floor ready then its older original mix. In final words:  just a much superior and timeless version of a Morttagua classic tune.

Our last release for the year ’Skyline’ is the second single from label founder Nick Coleman’s forthcoming live album. The album is the result of two years pre-production, research, development and innovation at the forefront of electronic music technology and live performance.

“As part of my live performance I developed a method of playing electronic sounds using the violin. Skyline was the first song where I was able to perform and record all melodies live. Once I have both hands on the violin it becomes difficult to control almost all aspects of a song. For the time being I am using pedals, body movements and gestures to control sound parameters (for example the filter on the acid arpeggiator). In the not so distant future these parameters will be controlled by brainwaves. When I want the filter to open up, I will think the action and it will happen” - Nick Coleman

The second single ‘Skyline’ is out now with the album to be released the 22nd January, 2021.
